This location was just trying to make their money off me and persistently overcharged me and other customers multiple times I had to go and do the reservation myself online.Jaedyn C.
I went 14 miles in the truck I rented, the average mileage indicator said it was getting 12.2 miles per gallon. I put 1.5 gallons in the truck when I dropped it off and the attendant said that wasn't enough and put an additional 2 gallons in the truck. There's no way I used more than 1.5 gallons to drive it 14 miles. The attendant added 2.0 gallons to the truck and charged me an additional $9.38 in fuel charges for 2 gallons. The attendant said she couldn't do anything about it and it was all computerized and to contact you guys. I'm contacting you letting you know the fuel computer system you are using is severely incorrect. This just seems completely wrong and I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. There is no way I used 3.5 gallons of fuel to go 14 miles and the 1.5 gallons I put in it should have been more than I even used. It's not much money it's just the principal that rubs me the wrong way. I hope to hear a response from you guys. Sincerely, Greg AndersonGreg A.

I am mostly disappointed that I was charged for 6 gallons of gas for a 26 mile trip (in town) . I purposely did not fill up the gas since I figured I would have used so little. I do realize the trucks don't get the best gas mileage, but I still feel that I was somewhat swindled with this gas charge.Casey C.

I received a trailer with three tires that were at 15 lbs. of pressure, and one over inflated to 75 lbs. when the max is 65 lbs. These should have been checked. Further, two of the tires, one trailing and one leading on opposite sides were significantly poorer tread than the other two. I did not realize this until I was loaded and ready to go. I had to drive extremely slowly to a service station, and air up the tires which cost me money and time and put me behind schedule. Upon returning the trailer, before the posted closing hour of 6:30, I was told that the U-Haul was closed and that I'd have to do a self check-in online or with my phone. My phone battery died. I asked if I could do the return at home. The attendant said yes. So then I went home and tried to do the return on my computer and it forced me to scan the barcode at the location. So had to drive all the way back to the station after a long day on the road and go through the whole self check-in process with photos, etc. in the dark while the same attendant watched. It was infuriating. I told him I thought it was lame that they posted the closing time of 6:30 and wouldn't do the check in. He just said the hours weren't right. No attempt at an apology or anything. It was apparent they did not care a bit about customers. I've rented these trailers lots of times and this experience has me seriously considering buying my own to avoid this kind of hassle. I'm seriously dissatisfied.Robert H.

I always rent from Uhaul at the Shell Station in Oregon City. They make it fast and easy. They are friendly, helpful, and I've never had to wait. The vehicle is always ready to drive away. They answer any questions I have. The same when I return the truck. It's fast and easy.Sophia E.

The staff were great and but the online check in process was a dumpster fire: time-consuming, full of pointless/unnecessary steps, and ultimately non-functional. Finally asked for help from staff when the website kept saying there was an error with my photo submission at checkin only to be told the site had already checked in the vehicle and overcharged me for gas. 0/10, will never be using anything but standard service again (because the staff were nice and super helpful).Barratt M.

When I reserved a 9 foot cargo van I said I was moving a queen bed. UHaul's website said a 9' cargo van would fit a queen bed and there was a video showing how to load it. When we arrived to pick up the van, we were told that the queen bed would not fit and that we needed a more expensive box truck. Very disappointed and frustrated.kathy B.

I had to pay for two days, even though I only needed for one day but couldn't drop off before 5 pm the same day. I dropped off at location at 6:45am next day and left key in drop box. And why did I end up with a $20 â€œafter hourâ€ fee????? Isn't the whole point of the drop off box so you can drop off after hours? And the last time I dropped off a Uhaul after hours, they didn't charge me a late fee but at that location they charged me for gas even though I filled up right before dropping off. I feel like every time I use a Uhaul, they always find end something more to charge me with. I have yet to pay for a Uhaul without getting another email with an extra bill attached. I got a call/text two hours before our pick up time that our reservation would be moved to the following day. Due to having to be moved out the day we reserved the uhaul for pick up, we made a call to see why it was changed to the following day for pick up and they said it was because the uhaul in Oregon city was short staffed. We can understand that. But, the lady there who answered our call said she'd stay and wait for us because we could be there in 30 minutes. We arrived 30 minutes later like we said and she had left. Luckily there was someone else still there who could hand us off keys and get us going. But this is still very unprofessional..Andrea F.

The box van that I rented had a leak in the roof of the cargo area. It completely soaked a bunch of possessions. When I mentioned it to the people there they didn't do anything other than acknowledge that it was a bad leak.john B.

I was charged a late fee when I was not late!!!! The rental was returned at 12:45 pm on 11/17/2022. The person unhooking the rental asked me if I would like my receipt e mailed or a hard copy, like a dumb ass I said e mail was fine. The bill stated that I returned rental at 2:58 pm. NOT EVEN CLOSE!!!!!!! We can settle this one of two ways. Either you credit my account, or I will personally collect from the location #24 in Oregon City.Terry B.

The guys there were kinda rude. Fought over who was going to be helping me to get the equipment out and secured. Made me feel like I was inconveniencing thenBraylin M.
I was called 30 minutes prior to my pick up time was advised the equipment was not available. I was offered an upgraded equipment at same cost and I approved. When I arrived the only person who could handle the transaction was not available. I clerk at the store got her on the phone and I was told the equipment was not available and implied no other options were available thus leaving me with the feeling of being stranded. So much for a GUARANTEED RESERVATION. I told here the reservation was made well enough in advance to make sure they had the requested equipment. She gave the age old excuse that the had been short on staff. Just an excuse and a failure to provide proper customer service. I will not trust this location to "EVER" have the proper equipment on hand when a GUARANTEED reservation is made. I will not recommend this U-HAUL location to anyoneTom L.

make sure the tank is full. We got stuck paying for 5.5 gallons and we only went 12 miles. The needles was on the F (full) mark when we drove off so we had no idea it truly wasn't full. the clerk was a jerk when we brought this to his attention but didn''t care.
