Great deal, only thing I would say is a local one day truck rental should not have the 99 cent a mile add-on if it comes back within 24 hours, that should be what you're rental on the truck is for also, otherwise everything is great

What I have to say has nothing to do with the rental location. It has everything to do with poor customer service. I rented the Uhaul truck from Friday until Sunday. On the way to my destination on Saturday evening, I realized that I would have to unload very late on Saturday and in very heavy rain. I had planned to return the truck Saturday night since my schedule on Sunday would not permit me to return the truck on time. So I called UHaul customer service. First of all, I was on hold for around 20 minutes or so, which is completely unacceptable for a customer waiting on customer service. Secondly, and most importantly, when I finally spoke with the customer service representative, I mentioned that I would like to extend my rental by one day and return the truck on Monday rather than Sunday. The rep informed me that my rental was "blacked out" so she could not approve an extension. She had no idea why, except that perhaps someone else had the truck reserved for Sunday. Regardless, she was not able to help, and said that I needed to speak with routing since they controlled rentals. This was Saturday night around 7pm and routing did not open until Sunday at 9am. Sunday at 9am would be much too late for me to make any changes. I needed to know Saturday night at 7pm. Why have customer service if they're not able to offer customer service? Why have a routing department that's not available to offer routing assistance when needed? So because nothing was able to be resolved, I had to unload in pouring rain, when I was perfectly willing to pay Uhaul for an additional day's rental and allow myself better weather in which to unload - win/win for both of us. If customer service is not authorized to assist with issues, there should be someone available who is authorized. That was a totally wasted time on hold and in conversation with someone who was incapable of assisting me. Poor customer service all the way around. In short, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience. Whatever happened to "customer service"? Perhaps it means something different to Uhaul than it does in my profession.

The worker was nice, however we reserved an appliance dolley and there was not one at the location. Because of this, we had to spend an hour and a half to go across town to get one when we already didn't have much time to begin with. There needs to be better communication of reservation and quantities on hand for equipment. I will possibly go to another service the next time I move.

I unfortunately did not get to log my complaint before I the truck was checked in but the sales rep was helpful and provided good customer service. However, I am finding it extremely difficult to getting the right department to file a complaint and ultimately received a partial refund since i discovered the malfunctioning a/c while enroute to Clarksville.

When I picked up the truck, I was informed that since I was returning it after hours, all I needed to do was drop the keys in the drop box. I asked the attendant again before I left, and she assured me that was correct. When I came to return the vehicle, the drop box had additional instructions for me to follow. These instructions included taking pictures to verify information, allowing the website to see my location to ensure I was dropping off the vehicle at the proper time, etc. This process took well over 30 minutes which caused me to be late when it was finished even though the vehicle was waiting in the lot. Furthermore, the attendant informed me that they do not rent out uhauls after 8PM---well after the time I returned the vehicle. I was charged double and filed a grievance. Uhaul said a representative would get back to me regarding the class in 48 hours. Uhaul never reached out to me. Instead, they sent me the bill today for double the agreed upon amount. Provide better training and customer service. I will never use your service again.
