This is my second time using this location, and each time I've had trouble picking up my U-Haul.

I reserved at a different location which was close to my home, showed up to get it, and found that my reservation had been moved to a different location without alerting me. The people at the new location were very helpful, and they even changed my reservation to a larger size very efficiently and kindly. However, the new location meant that I had to drive through the most congested and busiest part of town. The 6'x9' trailer was missing the built in jack that would allow one to easily take off and put on the trailer.

Staff didn't provide proper instructions regarding uhaul usage. Almost attempted to leave through an alley which was impossible to do so before I asked staff if there was a better way to leave the parking lot before I was informed of a gate. Uhaul was on 44 miles left before empty, luckily I did not need it to travel a farther distance.

The parking lot in the back that I got the U-Haul out from had no way for me to get out of after I dropped the van back off. I had to wait inside until someone walked by and could let me out.

While the individual who helped me pickup my uhaul was fantastic, the experience leading up to it was less than satisfactory. My pickup location was changed within less than 24 hours of my pickup time. It was changed to a location 50 minutes away from my house. I sat on hold for 2.5 hours that previous day trying to get ahold of a scheduling center for assistance. I spoke to 6 different people. The first 5 were helpful as could be but they were only call center representatives. When I finally spoke to a scheduling center the lady who answered the phone was extremely rude and basically stated that uhaul can change locations however they see fit and it is up to the customer to figure it out. She refused to give me her name. She refuses to help me at all. That is not okay in any way shape or form when it comes to customer service.

All the equipment received was in good condition! The only complaint is I reserved a utility dolly but it was not available upon arrival.

This location was HORRIBLE! How/why they are connected to U-Haul boggles me. The main guy in the office was a jerk and beyond unhelpful. I was returning the car hauler early and was looking for the most basic direction...like where do I leave it? How does it get recorded as returned? Do I get any confirmation etc. Nothing. Finally a lady in the same office chimed in to help, she eventually was able to locate my contract and seemed to get what was needed, done. I returned the truck 2 days later, 1 man was extremely helpful and the process was seamless. The 1st guy was there in the shop, being a jerk to another vendor.

Staff was very helpful and truck was clean and in good shape. Biggest issue is it was given to me with under 1/8 of a tank in gas and there are no gas stations nearby. It was nerve-wracking trying to get to one before I ran out of gas.

The parking lot was absolutely packed. It was a very tight fit and very difficult to get out of the parking lot. Could risk causing damage to non u-haul vehicles.

it was a drop-off after hours so I can't speak to any of the above questions but it was a convenient location and fairly easy drop off ( the only issue we had was my app wasn't working, so we didn't have great instructions for the drop off, but that wasn't this locations fault).

Upon arrival the auto care place that stored the U-Hauls was not open. No access to any in person assistance and there multiple other people standing around trying to get their U-Haul along with me and experiencing the same thing. My U-Haul was in a different lot from the location I was given and then went back. Wasn’t given the code to my key lockbox until I called support. But more importantly after I finally got the keys I inspected and start up the U-Haul and the back of my truck doesn’t have the equipment I paid extra to order. No dollys whatsoever. I call to get mor assistance on locating a dolly and at that point I was pushing back the moving schedule that I was on. Ultimately we were unable to locate me a dolly through U-Haul so I ended up having to buy my own. The support gave me some money back for my inconvenience but honestly the 2 wheel furniture dolly was 130$ before tax alone so it hardly covered the inconvenience. I was very unpleased with my experience and I spent a lot more money than intended. Unfortunate.

The drop off gate does not open from the inside. There were no other exits and I had to reach through the fence and blindly hit the keypad to get out.

I only gave it a No for "clean and inviting" because it was in a busy car repair shop, not a slick, corporate franchise. Both of my uncles had auto shops, so I understand that environment. I don't want to mislead other customers into thinking it's going to be like a car rental place at the airport.

This location was totally packed so it was very difficult to find parking. We got there on time and it took us very long to park the truck because every spot was taken.

Update the vehicle return instructions. I returned my van after the shop closed and I couldn’t get out of the outdoor yard because the gate only opens for cars and the other door was locked. I had to call my roommate to come and open the gate from the other side because otherwise, I would’ve been stuck there until the shop opened in the morning

The car was not properly maintained. Less than an hour into our drive, the tire went flat and it took over 3 hours for it to be fixed. The repair person was not properly equipped to fix the car upon arrival. He stated he would be back “in 15 minutes” to get the rest of the parts needed to repair the tire and returned over an hour later. This ordeal delayed our move by 3-4 hours on a 17 hour trip.

Be more clear about parking availability. Typically at a U-haul location there can exist parking for customers. I understand that might not be possible at this location, which is fine, but there needs to just be a bit more clarity during the booking process.

1. There are two lots, not visible from each other and this is confusing, maybe add signage to the secondary lot telling people if you are there for an early morning pickup to walk around the corner. 2. What’s the point of having a “lock box” for the truck keys if all 7 lock boxes have the code entered in the lock and you can open all of them even if they are not yours. Also be smart and set different codes on each of the locks. 3. The application is worthless! I couldn’t get it to take clear pictures of my drivers license. The iPhone 16 was taking clear pictures but your app just blurred everything and kept asking to retake the picture. 4. The app when checking out the truck wanted pictures of all sides of the truck but wouldn’t upload the pictures. No error or any other reason for why it wasn’t working. 5. After hours help from you 800 number is worthless. 6. I reserved a 26’ truck at the north avenue location because I had a storage locker there that I needed to clear out. Yall told me there were no trucks there and sent me to the loop which was an hour each way out of my way. When I got to the north avenue location there were two 26’ trucks sitting there that didn’t get picked up till 11am. Why was I forced to drive 2 hours out of my way at 5:30 when there were trucks at the place I reserved to pick it up at.? This was a horrible experience and waisted several hours of my time for no reason.

The nice gentleman at the Uhal was such a great help!!!! Our reservation said to pick up and drop off at Lees Auto Clinic. When we got there, the Uhal system had us picking up at a different location. Not what's on our reservation, see below. This guy told me they had a truck, just canceled our reservation, with the other pick up location that was NOT provided to us. He got us a truck and set us up! He saved the day! It was a whole scavenger hunt to get the truck, the tank was on E and I paid for a pack of 12 moving blankets and got 6. I could get no assistance My original pickup was supposed to be in McCook they canceled on the day before move and I was sent to a location downtown 40 min away charging an extra 300 & having to pay $200 to fill up the truck so I could get back to my house was ridiculous!

Terrible experience. Charged me for things I didn’t ask for; wasn’t honest about the actual gas level! Waited 40 mins for someone to help after being told I had to go through U-Haul; they ended up helping. Then Marcus slammed the door because I was in a hurry. Stay away! Go to a U-Haul location! Better service there

Have the keys to the vehicles at the site. Don’t use a site to a business that isn’t opened. Don’t change reservations without informing customers.
