The pickup location itself was good. The lady behind the counter was actually helpful - as opposed to the idiot at rhe uhaul yard up the steeet that wouldn’t help me check out - even though nothing else was going on in front him. Your online check out system SUCKS. I had 4 bars (out of 4) on my cell phone - on 5G - and the check out pages WOULD NOT load. Started - then re-started 4 times. And the pages wouldn’t load. After pissing away almost 15 minutes trying to make it work I asked the lady behind the counter if she could check me out so I could leave. She did something on the computer and told me to go ahead and take off. I had a similar experience on return and check in - not being able to use the online system to check back in. Uhaul need to do better.

It was not a good experience. We could not access the van after hours in the lake forest location and had to go to Costa Mesa for another van. I had to ask multiple time to be refunded for the extra mileage costs and only then was I offered $50. Communication with customer service was difficult. Very disappointing experience.
