Dale MThey charged us more for the truck because of the extra miles when they were suppose to give us a day free and extra miles and $50.00 dollars back due to the inconvenience. So I had to call U-Haul to get a refund because the manager in huachuca didn't answer his phone or return my phone call even after I left a message on his voicemail.

chris cMemo Date: 9-12-2022 From: Michael and Shelly Ioane, Contract No. 18780507 To: U-Haulk, Customer Service Dear U-Haul, We have concerns about our rental; we picked up the trailer, and all brake lights and signals worked when checking the lights. Since it was daytime, it had not occurred to check the running lights; but in the early morning, when we left, it was dark, and we noticed that the running lights did not work. So cars behind us could not see the trailer. We were pulled over by CHP and warned about this; we were forced to pull over at a rest stop until daylight. This was a considerable inconvenience and cost us time and money. (2) Your trailer had no jack, so when we first received the trailer, we removed it from the truck to use it in town; i.e., we had not left town for two days. After filling the trailer, it was impossible to lift the trailer onto the hitch, and we were required to borrow a neighbor's jack to get the trailer up; on the trailer hitch, it is "shocking" that your trailer did not have a jack built onto it, "Shocking." (3) We noticed that the trailer had no spare tire or jack system in case of a flat tire, although this was not a problem for us – what would have happened if we had a flat tire? Overall we were very disappointed in the rental, and we believe we are entitled to a refund or a significant discount because the running lights were not working; that issue cost us a 4-hour delay of sitting in a rest area until daybreak. Shelley IThis is a new location they are really working hard and have fantastic customer service I would most definitely recommend this location and I will definitely rent from there again.
