Trouble with the check in process to obtain verification code. Lock was very hard to open with code which delayed our time. 30 mins plus to get started. When key is not in box, the client can eady put the return lock on box. The cashier should have said once lock is remove you can return to see me . Which would speed up processDemetrius H.

I paid to have a dolly in the truck but there was no dolly inside just a bunch of dirt and grass so I had to spend about 45 mins of my rental tryin to talk to some on customer service which got me nowhere just wasting more time waiting for someone to answer long story short after 60 bucks to buy myself a dolly and time wasted on my rental I was able to moveJarrod P.

They overcharged us (the truck charge was appropriate but the mileage was double what it should have been) and have not responded to our emails, which is the only contact information they gave. Had to try 3 trucks before we found one that worked. First one nonexistent, second one had a dead battery, third one the cab was dirty and the back of the truck had a bunch of trash in it.Charles P.

Site manager was not there at the time scheduled for me to pick up the trailerâ€”at 12:45 p.m. The phone listed for him was not correct. Luckily, the attendant at the store had his correct number and she called him. I had to wait 45 minutes for him to arrive. The store attendant said he works nights and doesn't come in until 1 or 2 p.m. i looked up evaluations of him on the internet, and learned my problems were consistent with many others.william A.

The location is a convenient store and the clerk was rude and unprofessional he refused to descus the return information and suggested that I take the truck to a different location and now I'm being told that I owe y'all more money ??? With no explanation for what ! When I got the truck it was on empty and I didn't make it to the gas station, I had to walk a short distance and buy a gas container and fill it to get the truck going, when I returned the truck I left it almost 1/2 a tank of gas and folded the pads swept it out and cleaned the cab out and even left the lock that I purchased on the rear Door to protect the furniture dolly and pads and gave the clerk the keys to it !!! And now I'm being charged money ??? By all rights I should be givin a portion of my money back ! For all the unnecessary hassle expenses and inconvenience that I experiencedHenry H.
Employee was confused and didn't know how to check in return equipment at this location ..told me the manager was in . made a copy of the contract ..said she will let the manager know the equipment was returned. The manager never checked in the equipment .. Recieved notice from U-haul about unpaid balance ..Called circle p location in dairy road in Auburndale Florida. Employee had no knowledge of this issue ....there for I called U-haul regional Spoke with Regional district and they took the time to settle this issue In short .I will not do business at this location either to rent or return any equipment from U-haul .. Agent was 45 minutes late, pushing my travel timeline making me late. We conducted our arrangements over the gas station food stand including him reading my personal details out loud over the phone. He had me sign in places that stated "employee ". Clearly had no clue how to do the documentation and clearly had no regard for my time. Totally unacceptable. Then I had Uhaul contact me the following day after pick up, while I was in transit asking if I still needed a rental.... This company as a whole doesn't seem to have it together. I will use Uhaul as a last resort in the future.Christopher C.

Review the equipment prior to issuing the rental. The "check engine" light was on the entire journey. All fluids appeared to be in good order when we checked and the truck ran very well for the 430 mile journey. The U-Haul representative there was very friendly, answered my questions, and was very helpful.WILLIAM P.
The gentleman who rented the truck was very personable and helpful. He was friendly and we had a good conversation. Good people always make a difference in stressful situations. Also, there is a food truck in the lot next door that I highly recomend! Omgosh, was the mexican food so good! Don't pass it up!MARY M.
The store itself was fine -- just the area I had to park the trailer was not paved and I was in church clothes. The lady at the store really could not help me. So ... trying by myself to unhook and lift the trailer in my good clothes on a warm day was not the best. But ... I got it dropped and a signature. This was the only U-Haul place that was open when I wanted to return the trailer on Sunday afternoon. The scheduled location was not open so had to drive around for about 45 minutes. I did not just want to drop the trailer and leave. I wanted a signature that it had been rec'd. Anyway ... done. ThanksSteve H.

The manager did not know I had a reservation, so he was not expecting my arrival. This location was out of the furniture blankets I had ordered. The manager really made an effort to get some for me and he made several calls to two other local UHaul locations, but they were also out of the blankets. Maybe at least one local location could have more supplies on hand to avoid this problem in the future.Roger H.

At the drop off location the staff were very helpful nice. I also received a final bill through the e-mail. My only suggestion would be to put signage out front so that you know where to go and what to do in dropping off the rental equipment.ROBERT N.
I made a reservation via Uhaul.com a week prior to my move date. When I arrived at the location the woman working there told me my reservation was actually for 2 hours later than it was because the store owner, who handles the rentals, wouldn't be in until that time. I told her that was unacceptable and that I had a houseful of friends/family waiting to move our things. She was very rude and told me she couldn't help me. I called customer service and a lady there was able to rent me the truck, fax the paperwork over, and I signed for it. I was not impressed with the service or attitude of the people at this location, though, and would not recommend renting there.Jacob W.

Dealer did was not on site to provide truck-given keys to truck without any paperwork-called the customer service number to confirm milage and fuel prior to leaving location-upon return store owner claimed mialge number used higher than actual-fuel consumption differance-owner atated that I was lieing to him-will never use U-Haul again.
