No I was extremley disappointed it was dirty and as well as I had to wait 2 hours before they opened when I was booked for 6:30 am and didn’t get it until 8:30 ish I’m extremley disappointed and as well as unsatisfied with the service I was behind schedule

Easy access to the location and a bonus to have a fuel station on the premises. The employee was new, but was very thorough on the return.
BRIAN JAll people involved in the rental should come up with the same story. I called little chiefs in brandon mb on a Friday to rent a u.haul for the Sunday to be picked up in brandon and dropped off in swan river mb that same day. I was quoted $57.99 for the day and told I didn't need to book at that time as I could jyst pick.it up on Sunday. Sunday when I got there to pick it up i was.told I should have booked but they did still have one. I was told I had to pay for 2 days but if I got it to Swan River that same day I would b reimbursed for the second day. When we got to Swan River that night we were told charging for 2 days was standard procedure and we wouldn't b getting any money back. Which means I used the trailer for less than 8 hours and paid for 48 hours What kind of a rip off is that. If the first fella would have told us that believe me we would not have rented from you First your people need to all.come up with the same darn story The brandon men were at least friendly The fella in swan river is one of the most rude ignorant and snarky people I have ever had the misfortune to meet. If I treated a customer like that where I work believe me I wouldn't have a job So when I called u haul to complain I was told the 2 days was standard procedure. A few days later a gal from uhaul called. After talking for a bit she said u haul could likely do something for us. Then the call dropped So I called haul back and was told they'd b able to reimburse for the one day That's over a week ago now and nothings showed up as a credit yet So what's going on? Believe me I will never use your company again. I was totally ripped off totally disrespected in swan river and I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed I work hard for my money and I don't mind paying for services that I use but I am not happy about paying for services that I dont use and paying for 2 days when it should have been jyst 1 is a total ripoff So to answer your question you need to do 3 things 1. Get all your employees on the same page Maybe they need to be trained to know what they should be charging and maybe they need to be trained to not be so lazy 2. They need to be honest from the start 3 they need to be respectful and friendly
RICHARD HThis place needs to be stripped of its license with Uahaul. They were so rude, the lady had no idea what she was doing and had to call someone to see if they could understand what I was asking. I had to get Uhaul head office to deal with her. What should have been a 10-minute transaction took her over an hour to get me on my way with the help of head office. Not to mention I had my family with me and 2 other hired help standing there waiting too!
Curtis TIt’s not the staff’s fault, there was one person who had to work the counter of the convenience store and work for U-Haul… he was unable to assist with the return like going outside to help unhitch the trailer. There are no tools like a jack or lift assisting device- 6x12 trailers are heavy, if you need any physical help, do not use this location, pick a proper U-Haul facility that is staffed appropriately.
DAVID DThe clerk was disorganized. He also made requests about where to place equipment that was not my responsibility, which when I called him on it, he backed away from. Further, he attempted to claim that I owed more fuel than I did and when I said ‘no’ and challenged him on it he said it was a mistake and backed down. I also saw equipment left buried in mud (hitches for Dollie’s). I would recommend U-Haul take a closer look at that franchise and its operations. I will make sure that anyone I know needing to use U-Haul avoids this location.
Tyson WThe cargo trailer was not cleaned and I also told to the guy from where I pick the trailer then he said we don’t have the cleaning equipments so I payed extra outside to clean the cargo trailer to move my stuff and then again I cleaned the trailer to drop off , so , you can also confirm from your pickup and drop off location

PHIL PI had a terrible experience renting a trailer from this U-Haul location. I pre-booked my rental in advance, expecting a smooth pickup process. However, when I arrived at 6:30 AM, the person at the counter barely spoke English and had no clue how to complete the paperwork. They had to call someone on a video call for help, which dragged the process out for nearly an hour. On top of that, they provided zero information about the trailer—no instructions, no safety guidelines, nothing. It was clear they had no idea how it even worked. When I returned the trailer, there was no apology for the inconvenience, no acknowledgment of the delay, and certainly no effort to make things right. If you’re looking for a hassle-free rental experience, I’d strongly recommend going elsewhere. This location is unprofessional and completely unprepared to handle rentals properly.

Rashelle SThe only issue was the 6X12 cargo trailer didn’t have a jack and the wheels were frozen to the ground. Neither were the fault of the location. Perhaps those trailers don’t even have jacks. This combination made it somewhat challenging to get the trailer on the ball if the truck. However, the young lady who worked at the location was willing to back up my truck as I lifted the trailer and connected it.
STEPHEN DI have to say the clerk was not helpful at all,, even though that person was not busy with customers! He did not come out and help my daughter and I unhook the trailer even though I asked him too! We were having trouble getting the hitch off the ball of the hitch and took us a good 10 minutes of pulling in extremely cold -30 weather. We finally got it off on our own without anyone helping!!! Location was not an issue at all, it was the incompetent clerk that I have an issue with!!!

gord b- air conditioning not working -too hot - padlock not working -seized -truck wouldn’t pass a safety - muffler/exhaust system needs repair and safety as too LOUD! Kept my baby from sleeping it was so loud, we could not talk to each other in cab as it was too loud ! -truck came to me dirty - was not swept out at all I have rented from U-Haul 6 times in the past 4 years or so and I HAVE NEVER HAD THIS HORRIBLE OF A RENTAL. this was by far the worst experience. FIX YOUR TRUCK!!! I want a refund on my rental charges please for all of the inconveniences. Thanks
Graham CThe location was excellent, and the equipment was fine. These are not my concerns. Reservations and customer service was not, and for that reason we will not use UHaul again. Being unable to confirm a reservation until the day of the move is a terrible way to run a business and then expecting the customer to travel 2 hours to pick up a trailer is beyond incompetent. Customer service disregarded concerns until a manager stepped forward to offer an alternative. Terrible business model that doesn't care about customers. I can't understand how you are still in business except perhaps having a monopoly on the industry.

Danny PRental location was really handy. But the booking interface was awful. I had to book for 24 hours and only used the truck for 4 hours. No changes were allowed even though it was a forced booking. Frustrated with the additional charges

Shoail AUnit had mud a grease globs in the box unit and the cab had grease on the exterior and interior of the door. We spent an hour cleaning the unit before loading. Then Uhaul has assessed us a cleaning fee when we dropped the unit off. The unit was cleaner than when we picked it up. When I called about the charge I thought I was to get some paperwork to request the reversal of ht e cleaning fee. but that has never showed up. I did send pictures of the mess in the unit when we picked it up but have had no further response from Uhaul

terri mWhen going speed under 15KM the vehicle would randomly break on its own. Wasn’t happy that I was charged for a full day after being 3 hours late. I understand a late fee but being charged for a full day, if I would have known I would have kept it, as was planning on renting again to finish up moving. Will be going else where to complete job

The staff person at Little Chiefs tried to offer the utility dolly that they had, but once he found out that I was taking the truck to Winnipeg, he wasn't able to offer it anymore. The vehicle only had 3/4 of a tank when I picked it up. If it's sitting at a gas station, why wasn't the truck filled up before I took it?
