Overall a positive experience. Check in was easy, staff was very helpful. Some minor issues with the truck, but I should have checked it out before I left the lot (AC and Radio were not working properly). Would not have been a huge deal, except I was driving 3-4 hours each way in 100 degree heat. The online reservation process is not the easiest and you have to go all the way through the prompts to find out the vehicle requested is not available at the original store. This makes you restart the process, allowing mistakes to be made. Again, this is a corporate issue, not the location. I will actually start using this location, rather than the one closer to me... due to the quality and helpfulness of the staff.Charles L.
Your "reps" scammed me out a gallon of fuel and without looking at the gage, they sole money from me. I drove it less than 1o miles AND put 3 gallons of fuel in it. PATHETIC!!!Jeff S.

No confirmation call the day before pick up. I called 2 days prior and the female on the phone was very short and snippy. She informed me she didn't have a truck there for me and didn't know if there would be one to fulfill my reservation. I made this reservation 8 months ago so that is unacceptable.Patrick B.

The employee was on the phone and there wasn't another person to help me return my truck. The employee told me the U-Haul website had been down all day and to just leave the key. I tried telling her that the gas tank was above the mark in which it was given to me and there was no damage to the truck. She quickly said "That's fine'" and continued talking on the phone. I can only assume they were satisfied with the condition the truck. I know I did not go over the mileage and the gas was more than when I got the truck so, fingers crossed. I haven't heard anything else from U-Haul. I have only received a text asking when I would drop off the truck I had already dropped off.Claudia A.

The app on-boarding experience is frustratingly complicated--particularly the additional documentation which I did not expect to have to provide. That could have easily been requested at the time of the reservation or one of the multiple phone calls that I had with Uhaul reps prior to the moment of pickup.Alexander P.

I do not believe I should have been charged for excess mileage. The whole trip was 70 miles, from the pickup location to my home in Willis, straight to the new home in College Station, then straight to the crop-off location. The truck was returned with 1/4 tank more gas than it had when I picked it up. I would like a refund on those excess charges.Mary L.

My gripe is dropping off the truck. At my designated drop spot, I was told my drop spot changed to a different address. I was not notified of the change. Then was told I would be charged $250 for dropping at wrong location. Not happening. At this point I would have not had a ride back to get my vehicle. I dropped the truck off at 10:00 and the business didn't open till 1. So I came back to drop the key off when I was told about the drop change. I never received an email, text or phone call about change. So if $250 is charged to me. I will sue Uhaul.Brad L.

I regret not taking my own pics and only okaying their's. I spotted a past incurred body abnormal area while checking it in after hours but could not pull up their pics to make sure what I found showed in their pics. Not sure when u-haul's pics of the truck were taken. I suggest...TAKE YOU OWN PICS...especially in after hours pick/up & return (24/7).Tony M.

Inform the customer that a text will be sent with link to condition form. Did not get text notification until after we left Uhaul facility; therefore, could not complete form. We were subsequently charged for sticky substance in cup holder that was previously there. (Charge was refunded, but we had to call and request that.) The interior truck floor was slick and dangerous. We were also inconvenienced by having to return to a different location at the request of the Houston division instead of Uhaul personnel transferring the truck because â€œit was more convenient for Uhaul if we did it that way.â€Sanjay M.

Beware of being overcharged!!! When reserving the UHaul truck online, I was quoted one price. When we picked up the truck, we confirmed the price. After dropping off the truck, we received an email and were charged $74.90 more than the quote. I have left 3 messages for the manager and NO RETURN call.Jeffry G.

I was to pick the truck up at 8:00 but there was a screw-up with the online rental pickup. Lady showed up at 9:30 and got me taken care of. She was nice. The truck was not cleaned (half-open bottle of water in it, cigarette butts on the floor, and someone's neck pillow behind the seat). However, the truck was in really bad shape. The driver's window seal is bad or the door is bent because when I drove the truck down the road, the truck window would whistle from the wind coming in it. When you drive down the highway it gets loud and hurts your ears. I actually had to were noise-canceling earbuds to tolerate the noise. I adjusted the mirrors but the passenger mirror moves when you drive because it raddles so much. both doors creak when you open them and the driver door handle came off when I went to shut the door but I was able to snap it back on. I had no issues with the people I dealt with just the truck itself.robert M.
