We rented a trailer and it smelled like marijuana so bad we had to hose it out use vinegar use detergent and soap and water and spray it out again plus put deodorizer’s in it because it’s reeked of marijuana and we were putting our clothes in it

Upon arriving to pick up my U-Haul Moving Truck I conducted the requested inspection before driving the vehicle back to start loading my belongings. Upon inspection I documented that both cables for the loading door were extremely loose. Then upon arriving to the location it took multiple attempts to open the loading door ( took 2 people and even that was very straining ). I would definitely not recommend letting another customer rent this truck until that door is fixed . Then upon leaving my location to close the door was also dangerous as the door had no resistance to slow it down when it was closing and instead very quickly slammed closed. I will not be renting from this location again and most likely will not rent from U-Haul as I paid almost 90$ for shotty equipment.

Went to location in Warren but no truck. Eventually sent me to location on Belmont Rd in Youngstown where I waited nearly an hour. Was entitled to $50 since no truck but was required to return to original location first which I could not do. Lost over 2 hours of time plus driving all over the place while I was paying people to help in my move. Ridiculous!

The gas tank was on empty at pickup. That's not acceptable!! The pickup location has to work the customer in as they service their customers coming in for oil changes, so it was a lengthy wait.

Fix the truck!!! It jerks and doesn’t want to go. $400 for 3 days? Was only 219.00 for 3 days!! Ridiculous!!! If I ever need to move again I will go with a different company.

The owner was present and handled the contract / pickup very professionally. I want to address the reservation procedures for U-haul; I am VERY DISSATISFIED with a number of the procedures I encountered in attempting to reserve this trailer rental. [1] I originally made a reservation to rent this trailer at your downtown Youngstown, OH. location. {I did this in person} That transaction was professional and seamless. I was to pick up the trailer Friday evening 10/30/2020 before 7:00PM. I arrived at about 6:15PM and was informed that my reservation had been CANCELED, and the unit was no longer available for rental at this location. I had NOT cancelled the rental agreement. Someone at Corporate SCREWED UP, and failed to properly inform me that this had happened. I was referred to another location, {Lube Management 2915 Belmont Ave Youngstown, OH 44505} And was therefore delayed in my departure, and made my entire pre-planned trip and delivery almost 14 HOURS LATE! This delay cost me a $100 late delivery penalty, all because U-Haul failed to honor the original rental reservation. I am asking to have my rental charges refunded due to the delays and failure to properly reserve and provide the services I paid for. {2} Your phone service is not only difficult to work through initially, but is also VERY inefficient when I [or anyone} attempts to get assistance in correcting an issue. While trying to get this current issue resolved, I was on HOLD twice, for well over 20 minutes. Both times, due to time constraints on my end {I was trying to do this while working}, I had to continue working. My frustration with not being able to call and actually talk to a LOCAL rental center was extremely off putting.

I was unable to pick up using the mobile app and I was not able to pick up at the time desired because the location did not know how to do this. Better training is needed to provide a good customer experience. I was also given the wrong truck and it was a big hassle to check the truck back in because of this.

Staff was friendly on-site and did their best to be helpful. The uhaul app was not functioning well and because of this I had to wait a long time for check-in, standing outside in the sun for about 20 minutes. Location was inconvenient and there was significant oil-change customer traffic.

Have truck to me on empty. Literally watched to see if I made it to gas station. Guys were nice though.

First off the customer service was horrible they acted as if I was bothering them, 2nd the truck I was given had a broken passenger side mirror that made it almost impossible to see to back up and lastly was told there was a quarter tank of gas in it and I was to return it with a quarter tank, well there was no quarter tank in it went 10 miles and low fuel light came on and I had to stop and get gas. I even stopped a second time upon returning the truck just to make sure it was returned on a quarter tank. Returned the truck ten mins before the place closed and the service man said he d process the return in the morning as they were about to close and he apparently didn't want to b bothered...I review my receipt in my email today and I am charged 50 dollars for 10 gallons of gas and recpt shows their fake gas gauge suggesting that it wasn't returned on quarter tank. I not thinking did not take a picture of the gas gauge when I returned the truck so I will take the hit for this time and it will b the last time I ever use their service and will not recommend Lube Management as a place to rent a uhaul from. That was a total scam which is a shame bc I used the truck to move my 77 yrs old mother with Alzheimers into assisted living. I hope u sleep well at night n have sweet dreams of the people u ripped off.

The location and staff were great. The truck was as expected, but the computer issues were a nightmare. Took over a half hour to complete the pickup process because the computer system wasn't working properly. The return process was equally disappointing, as the "easy" return through your app ran extremely slowly, then crashed towards the end of the process. Definitely enough of a problem to make me reconsider using U-Haul again.

Very rude and unprofessional I was supposed to have the Uhaul for 24hrs returned the Uhaul in less then 24hrs and I was double charged for everything... They overdrawn my bank account making me have overdraft fees... Have always used Uhaul over any competitors... Will be using other truck options in the future... Very disappointed with Uhaul... Has definitely went downhill over the years!!
