I rented this truck for 4 hours, returned it full of gas at 8:30pm on Friday night per the contract. The UHaul website showed that I still had the truck and that it was overdue until Tuesday after noon. When I reached out to UHaul on Sunday they said I had to wait until the next business day. When nothing had changed by Monday at noon, I phoned Mike at MAACO who apologized and said it would be done within the hour. When nothing had changed by 4:30 I called MAACO again but got their voicemail. I called UHaul customer service and a very nice guy called Steven tried unsuccessfully to reach Steven and then the area manager. He sent a detailed email to that manager who was on duty until 7pm, and told me this mgr might be able to handle the closure of the contract himself. The rental didn't show as returned with a receipt to me until Tuesday at 12:30pm. I've rented a lot of UHauls over the decades and always had good, professional experiences. Mike is a nice guy, but the business end is not up to standard.

I got billed a 20 dollar after hour drop off fee no one told me about as I did a favor in dropping it off at that location to help place that equipment in a needed location. Disappointed

The furniture pads we paid to rent were missing, yet we were still charged for them. The windshield wipers would get stuck on the side of the van so they would not work until you physically pushed them back onto the windshield which made for a relatively unsafe driving experience where I had to pull over multiple times.
