The truck was muddy inside. The tank was only 5/16th full. It wasnt the people at the stores fault. The truck showed up unscheduled, but traffic should have updated them.

I have to look at my receipt but I feel they tacked on a few charges, plus the mile gage is jumpy like it skips to add more miles, I did not drive 30 miles in town

Actually give a return location in the town we live in. Drive past 3 towns and 5 uhaul locations. Wasted fuel and an hour of time.

Nightmare! Equipment was not there had to drive from Williston to Dickenson pick it up after I made reservations tions a month a head, and checked a week prior confirming and you said it was all good and ready! Not happy with your service!!

You can have all the equipment at the actual location you are renting from. We were going to rent a car dolly but had to get it and hour and a half away (we cancelled this). Even the truck was not at the location we set it up to pick it up at, we had to go to another location to get the truck.

We had spoke with Jason at the main U-Haul location , and he explained what to do since we had issues with the truck. Upon arrival we were questioned and questioned by the man there that took the U-Haul back he was very rude and unprofessional never go back there again

One of the straps on the car dolly was half ripped. This would have been dangerous if I had not returned for a replacement car dolly. Your equipment should be checked before being lent out. Also, I had to drive to Williston to get the truck. This added four hours of driving when I already was driving 9 hours for my move.

There was not a single thing that was done right during the entire rental. It was not the fault of either location. UHAUL is the WORST company I have ever dealt with they did nothing right. They never admit to any mistake they argue with the customer and I am sure their saying is THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS WRONG. They could not even get furniture blankets to the location. I was charged $68 that I should not have been because they can't even do paper work. The right equipment was not at the pick up location. They saw nothing wrong with sending ME 110 miles to get a car hauler. I drove 30 miles and was called and told the trailer was not there. They said it might be available the next day. They argued about everything and have NO compassion for the problems they cause their customer. I spent 6 hours arguing with them and an extra 6 hours getting equipment and they just did not care. After all of this I was charged $68 dollars extra when I returned the truck. WHAT A LOUSY COMPANY. When you go out of business you will be getting what you deserve.

The problem was with Uhaul themselves. The location I picked up from was great and the staff was friendly, however the Uhaul system was down so I had to wait 2 hours for my uhaul,, and I was given a broken tow dolly because no other tow dollys were available

The place was closed but the return process on my cell phone was quick and easy. Just dropped it off. Took the pictures. Dropped off the key. Took about 5 minutes.

First I received a call from lisa yelling at me want to know where the damn truck was ..then she got on my personal Facebook page stalking me ..I got the truck to Macs she proceeded to tell me in front of the manager what she had done....

I had made a reservation 3 months in advance to pick the truck up in Bismarck ND. However 18 hours prior I was notified that if I wanted a truck I would need to drive over 100 miles one way to another location. When I got there they had a truck but not the 24 blanket. I was again sent to another location for those. NOT a good truck pick up situation...

Make sure equipment is in working order and maybe help assist hooking up the trailer. My dog was dying at the vet and I had to make it back to my vet I had no time to go back so I stopped at a ford dealer to have this repaired.

My experience with U-Haul, while typically very good, were HORRENDOUS this time around. We were told less than 24 hours before our big move that NO 20-FOOT TRUCKS, in the ENTIRE STATE OF NORTH DAKOTA, were available. Instead, my husband and I had to either drive 2 hours west for a vehicle too large for our needs, or 2 hours east for a vehicle too small for our needs. I cannot fathom how incompetent someone would have to be to not know to comings and goings of their inventory at a given time. Furthermore, if a reservation is made a month in advance, your customers are EXPECTING a vehicle to be available. And if not, to be given REASONABLE notice. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in UHaul, and will very likely never utilize their services again. The actual pickup location in Dickinson was fine, and the man who helped me was wonderful. My issues are with Uhaul as a company, not with this particular pickup location.

The location itself was clean, maintained, and staff was friendly. But they did not have an appliance dolly at the time of my check in, even though I had reserved one through uhaul’s website. Though they did try to call other uhaul locations in town to see if they had, unfortunately those either didn’t have one or wasn’t open. I was forced to buy a dolly. Also, the reservation made through uhauls website was wrong when I got there, leading to spending more time at the location checking in to receive equipment. This will be the last time I ever use uhauls website to rent equipment; I will either call location personally to reserve, or use a different company altogether. Overall experience was below average, and I would not recommend using uhaul to others if there is alternatives.

I reserved 20 ft truck got to location and was told they only had 15ft or I could get 26ft but had to have it back at noon . Had to reserve day before because location did not open until noon on Sunday.

I had to give all of my information twice even though it was already in the system, as well as my first born child just to get a trailer I wasn’t guaranteed to get at the time requested. I needed to have the trailer at 8 am ready to go which I was told alll I would have to do is come get since all my information was entered. I finally left with the trailer after an hour and half. Honestly I would’ve been better off going to the bank getting a loan and buying my own damn trailer
