Huge disconnect between the online booking and the actual inventory of available supplies at the pick up site. I ordered and paid for 4 dozen rental blankets as part of my 20 foot truck rental at U-Haul.com. Then as I'm picking up the truck I am informed that no blankets are included. The people inside told me they had no inventory of blankets available and that I should have booked direct with them instead of U-Haul.com to be informed of the lack of local supplies because the U-Haul website has no way to track real time inventory of local supplies. That is way too late to tell a customer that the important supplies they need are not available after all. How about telling me in advance so that I could have made other plans to get what I needed? Had I known that I would have gone with a different company from the outset. I was counting on those blankets to pad my furniture. Very disappointed. And the hold times trying to get through to customer service on the phone for assistance are ridiculous. Hire more people to staff your customer service line, especially if you are going to bait and switch people at the last minute when they are stuck without alternatives.Melissa B.

Make sure to speak loudly about the differences in the "price" the day you pick up the Uhaul and the "actual price" that comes out on your receipt. I was told on Saturday, 6/19 that my rental would be $41. Not $41 plus some. $41. On Monday, 6/28, I received a receipt for $71. I was charged for insurance protection I DID NOT ASK FOR. I got told that because I'd signed the "contract" there's nothing that can be done. That's unacceptable. My rental was supposed to be $19.80 for the truck and $19.80 for the mileage. Somehow I was charged $14.40 for insurance and another $10 for who the fuck knows what. I'll never rent from you guys again. It's a good thing I can afford to lose a random ass $30 with you guys.Kenzie K.

I rented a truck and thought it would be for the best for me and my family, For I had to move a 4 bedroom 2 baths and a small one bedroom apartment. I started to rent it for 2 days then I had to call them to let them know I would have to have it a little longer, I got phone calls from them to bring the truck back I was not going to steal it I was just trying to move everything. I didn't like them treating me like they did. I'm going to let all my family and friends know not to rent from U-all.Julia P.

The price for rental here is high. I booked a rental on May 11th for the same trailer for $98.00. on May 26th it was $235.00. There is no excuse for such an increase in such a short time. Very disappointedLISA T.

I was given a new Cargo Van since I was going to have it for a week, and it was it great shape. A little more attention to operation of the unit would have been good. I drive a Chevy Impala, not a Ford Transit Van, so it was a little confusing at first.Harry L.

As much as I dislike storing and paying monthly for items I already own... this crew and facility make the experience more enjoyable! It’s very clean, organized and well stocked (fair prices) with the essential items you never remember to bring with you when moving. I was told that "there was no capacity" to take my trailer when I went to return it and I would have to drive an extra 1 hour to drop it off at another location. Truck has 99,902 miles and the engine light was on after I left. Engine was noisy and very expensive to run as I averaged 8 miles per gallon with an empty truck. Upon my return I was told all I had to do was drop the keys and they would do everything and send email. Reviewing email I saw they did a 10 gal fuel charge even after I had replaced the used fuel (receipt available). Would not deal with U-Haul again.Donald K.

The facility was clean. However, there was a flaw in the roof and it leaked brown fluid into my unit, ruining my white sofa, elegant table, large mirror in gold frame, and family portrait. It was at least a month later when I went to my unit to find the damage done. They could have checked my unit and notified me, but did not. I paid $240.00 per month for the unit and did not elect to pay extra for insurance. The building is easy to access and carts are provided for customers to move their things in/out to other floors via an elevator. ALL the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
