Have someone sitting at the desk, specifically for Uhaul rentals. When returning the key on the day of the move, I was told to leave the key on the desk of the office. The next day or so, I received a call from uhaul claiming I never returned the keys and were wondering how much longer I’d need it so they could predict how much to charge me. Once I heard the message and responded, the problem was solved. Better communication

Received the truck from this location inside the cab was filthy and dirty. Never mind the back of the truck before I can do any of my stuff I had to get rid of empty boxes that they left in the back of the truck the gentleman at this location was very rude and not helpful and I personally would never use this location again

Salim BI ordered this uhaul with a dozen moving blankets and a dolley and there was nothing in the truck for me. The 24/7 system is horrible. I also got a call that my rental was overdue which is wasn't. I extended my time but ended up dropping it off an hour before it was due. Would not recommend.

Dwight PThe gentleman at this location at said he had nobody there from uhaul to receive my truck and had no idea when somebody would be there. I told him the gas tank was 3/4 full and I would like a credit since the pickup location told me I had to fill the gas tank because they were too busy. He said the uhaul representative would take care of that when he arrived. The uhaul representative did not take care of it. He or she recorded 3/4 tank full but no action to compensate. In addition according the the email receipt he or she charged me an extra 3.20 for 8 extra miles but my contract said i had 96 miles 24. The extra charge was based on only an allowance of 86 not 96 as on my printed contract.
KURT GThere is no identifiable drop box for the key so when we returned the truck we had to call customer service and wait on hold to figure out what to do with the key. The person we spoke with told us there must be a drop box, which we could not find anywhere and the gas station attendant did not know where it was. We ended up returning the key to the gas station attendant, but it took us about 45 minutes to return the truck because if this.
Kristina FPut the items the customer requested in the truck. I ordered 20 blankets and none were there. My card was charged $40 and I have called twice and was told the $ was refunded. It has not been refunded and it’s been 2 weeks. I will call again tomorrow.

Jean LThis is nothing against the specific location in Mansfield, but I actually didn't reserve a truck at this location. Rather, UHaul Corporate changed the location from one that was close to my house to one several miles away. Not a huge deal, but as I was walking to pick up the truck, my walk went from 2 miles to over 6. Please reconsider changing the pick-up location for people in the future.

DANIEL TVery easy in and out on both ends. And a lot less than I expected. I needed the truck for just a few hours more than 2 days and so I didnt sendup paying for the full 3 days. This was used for a non profit so every penny counts.

GEORGE PFilled the gasoline tank to level specified on the contract (the level when the truck was picked up). Charged another $6 for under filling even though gauge at the time of filling was spot on (at night) and supposedly read less in the morning when it was checked in (due to evening cooling???). It was a Mobil station and I had the receipt for gas at their station but still got charged. Didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth about 24 hour returns. Should have called me at check in as I live less than a mile away or just put the $1 in themselves.

Karen MThis location was a complete mess and a poorly run operation. The same can be said for U-Haul as a whole. The pick-up location doubles as a gas station/car repair shop and my U-Haul representative was being pulled in several directions at once. In addition, the U-Haul website/portal was crashing and returning errors for a full hour while we tried to confirm my rental. I sat in a dirty chair with car parts poking me in the back for a full hour while I watched and waited for a website to correctly load and the representative to actually pay attention to the selections he was clicking through. When I returned my rental only a few hours later, I could only drop off the keys to a gas station cashier. This person knew absolutely nothing about the U-Haul renting process and could not give me a drop-off receipt or really anything at all. I had to hope that the key would not be lost and that my rental paperwork would be properly closed on the next business day. To make matters worse, I just received my receipt with the final charges. I cross-checked this with my credit card bill and now I see that I have MULTIPLE pending charges that align with the initial hold charge when I picked up the rental. I understand one holding charge, but two? Overall, I rate this experience a solid 0/5 stars.

Caren CThere was a problem with the computer, so there was about a 20 min wait to get the truck...I had pre-paid online to avoid this. Also, there is no waiting room per se - it's a mechanic garage / gas station. The guys were nice, but you're just kind of standing there in the middle of a service bay. I had also reserved and paid for 1 dozen furniture pads...the location didn't have any. It's also worth noting that I had reserved my truck at a full service UHaul location (and, again, pre-paid for everything) and received an email changing the location at the last minute. So, I ended up at a garage, having the exact experience I was trying to avoid.

Carlos LCustomer service was horrible they will not take my debit card they wanted a cash deposit I'm thinking because I was a black woman trying to rent a truck and all-white neighborhood customer service over the phone was horrible The representative over the phone with in accommodate us know kind of conversations just a horrible experience in the Walpole area would not recommend anybody anybody to this location
