Uhaul corporation to research their “movers help” companies better. I picked one of their recommended moving help companies and they were scammers, I am still wondering was missing in my home. They came and left the home after 10 minutes roaming around the house. Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the appalling and unacceptable experience I had with two movers hired through your Moving Help service. I expected trained, professional movers ready to complete a straightforward job. Instead, I received nothing but unprofessional behavior, lack of effort, and outright abandonment. From the moment they stepped into the house, the movers began complaining about the amount of furniture—even though they had been provided clear instructions beforehand. We had fewer than 25 large items—not an entire household—and everything was clearly outlined for them in advance. These were standard household items, and there was no excuse for confusion or disorganization. What followed was simply outrageous. Within 20 minutes, they had only managed to move one small dresser into the U-Haul truck. And then, without a word, they disappeared. No explanation. No professional courtesy. No indication of whether they were coming back. They simply walked away from the job as if it was acceptable to leave their clients stranded mid-move. As a result, my husband and son were forced to do the entire job themselves. They loaded every piece of furniture while your so-called "movers" vanished without completing any part of their contracted duties. And even after all that, we are still not finished. We have not yet been able to move the washer, dryer, china cabinet, refrigerator, or the entire contents of the master bedroom, due to this ridiculous situation. We hired U-Haul movers to lessen the burden of moving—not to be left completely unsupported and scrambling. What was supposed to be a coordinated, efficient process turned into chaos and exhaustion, and I hold U-Haul directly responsible. Given the circumstances, I am demanding the following: 1. A full refund for the Moving Help service that was never rendered 2. Reimbursement for gas expenses, since my family ended up doing the job 3. An additional day of U-Haul truck rental at no charge, as we still need time to finish what was left behind I expect this matter to be handled swiftly and seriously. Please let me know what documentation is required to process this request. The key lockbox was broken so the doors were unlocked. The furniture pads were missing from the truck upon arrival. There was no key Dropbox so I had to find a gas station attendant to give them to in hopes I didn’t get charged.

Have someone sitting at the desk, specifically for Uhaul rentals. When returning the key on the day of the move, I was told to leave the key on the desk of the office. The next day or so, I received a call from uhaul claiming I never returned the keys and were wondering how much longer I’d need it so they could predict how much to charge me. Once I heard the message and responded, the problem was solved. Better communication

Received the truck from this location inside the cab was filthy and dirty. Never mind the back of the truck before I can do any of my stuff I had to get rid of empty boxes that they left in the back of the truck the gentleman at this location was very rude and not helpful and I personally would never use this location again

When I turned in the truck no one checked it in. I was instructed to leave the keys on the desk. I turned the truck in on a Friday, by Sunday it still was not logged in. It took several calls to the location, managers, and UHaul.com before it was logged in on Monday at close of business

I ordered this uhaul with a dozen moving blankets and a dolley and there was nothing in the truck for me. The 24/7 system is horrible. I also got a call that my rental was overdue which is wasn't. I extended my time but ended up dropping it off an hour before it was due. Would not recommend.

The employees who were at the locations were completely hands off with the UHAUL I rented. No help at all! Pickup or return. I had to find the lock box were the key was and the box was unlocked! Also The 800# that was provided no one picked up... No Guidance very unprofessional!

The gentleman at this location at said he had nobody there from uhaul to receive my truck and had no idea when somebody would be there. I told him the gas tank was 3/4 full and I would like a credit since the pickup location told me I had to fill the gas tank because they were too busy. He said the uhaul representative would take care of that when he arrived. The uhaul representative did not take care of it. He or she recorded 3/4 tank full but no action to compensate. In addition according the the email receipt he or she charged me an extra 3.20 for 8 extra miles but my contract said i had 96 miles 24. The extra charge was based on only an allowance of 86 not 96 as on my printed contract.

There is no identifiable drop box for the key so when we returned the truck we had to call customer service and wait on hold to figure out what to do with the key. The person we spoke with told us there must be a drop box, which we could not find anywhere and the gas station attendant did not know where it was. We ended up returning the key to the gas station attendant, but it took us about 45 minutes to return the truck because if this.

Put the items the customer requested in the truck. I ordered 20 blankets and none were there. My card was charged $40 and I have called twice and was told the $ was refunded. It has not been refunded and it’s been 2 weeks. I will call again tomorrow.

This is nothing against the specific location in Mansfield, but I actually didn't reserve a truck at this location. Rather, UHaul Corporate changed the location from one that was close to my house to one several miles away. Not a huge deal, but as I was walking to pick up the truck, my walk went from 2 miles to over 6. Please reconsider changing the pick-up location for people in the future.

I rented a truck in North Attleboro and dropped it off at Mansfield Ma they charge me $ 20 for dropping it off in the wrong place even if they didn't specify where I should drop it off. bad bad experience charging me for their own mistake

Customer know that he's going to be overcharged for two additional days four times the amount advertise on the side of the vehicle + 6/9 + 2 Mile which says on my contract unlimited 750 miles but I was charged $700 for 9 days use glad I could make that month's payment for you

Very easy in and out on both ends. And a lot less than I expected. I needed the truck for just a few hours more than 2 days and so I didnt sendup paying for the full 3 days. This was used for a non profit so every penny counts.

Filled the gasoline tank to level specified on the contract (the level when the truck was picked up). Charged another $6 for under filling even though gauge at the time of filling was spot on (at night) and supposedly read less in the morning when it was checked in (due to evening cooling???). It was a Mobil station and I had the receipt for gas at their station but still got charged. Didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth about 24 hour returns. Should have called me at check in as I live less than a mile away or just put the $1 in themselves.

This location was a complete mess and a poorly run operation. The same can be said for U-Haul as a whole. The pick-up location doubles as a gas station/car repair shop and my U-Haul representative was being pulled in several directions at once. In addition, the U-Haul website/portal was crashing and returning errors for a full hour while we tried to confirm my rental. I sat in a dirty chair with car parts poking me in the back for a full hour while I watched and waited for a website to correctly load and the representative to actually pay attention to the selections he was clicking through. When I returned my rental only a few hours later, I could only drop off the keys to a gas station cashier. This person knew absolutely nothing about the U-Haul renting process and could not give me a drop-off receipt or really anything at all. I had to hope that the key would not be lost and that my rental paperwork would be properly closed on the next business day. To make matters worse, I just received my receipt with the final charges. I cross-checked this with my credit card bill and now I see that I have MULTIPLE pending charges that align with the initial hold charge when I picked up the rental. I understand one holding charge, but two? Overall, I rate this experience a solid 0/5 stars.

Little confusing at first if it was the right location because it’s displayed as a Mobil gas station. The shop is located in the convenience store. After that it was quick and easy.

There was a problem with the computer, so there was about a 20 min wait to get the truck...I had pre-paid online to avoid this. Also, there is no waiting room per se - it's a mechanic garage / gas station. The guys were nice, but you're just kind of standing there in the middle of a service bay. I had also reserved and paid for 1 dozen furniture pads...the location didn't have any. It's also worth noting that I had reserved my truck at a full service UHaul location (and, again, pre-paid for everything) and received an email changing the location at the last minute. So, I ended up at a garage, having the exact experience I was trying to avoid.
