Focus on the primary customer. When I walked in, there was no one in the store, but since this store was also a liquor market as soon as another customer walked in and was ready to check out the cashier would pause his interaction with me and then move on to the person purchasing from a liquor store and this went on on about three times.

When I arrived at the location at the correct time to pick up my truck, there was a truck parked out front which I thought was mine. Someone else picked it up before I got there. When I went into the market, the gentleman told me that someone else had taken it! So I have very confused why he gave it to somebody if it wasn’t theirs. And then the two furniture dollies that I ordered he didn’t have and they might’ve been in the truck that I was supposed to get. So I could only get an appliance Dolly. I had to go through the whole process of renting again. And that was after my original pick up spot called me and told me they didn’t have the truck for me and I had to go to another city to pick up this truck. I’ve done U-Haul for many years and never had an issue. This experience was not great. Although the gentleman in the market was very very nice and accommodating, but it still wasn’t the equipment that I had originally rented. He also told me that if I had shown up five minutes earlier, I would’ve had the truck! Which doesn’t make sense because that was reserved for me.

I had to ask for a receipt. I wasn't going to get one. You return at the checkout of a liquor store. Takes time when there is a line. Weird and unorganized.

Equipment sucks!!! Right front hub cover was leaking and having to pass a scale house makes this worse. Truck has hard time making shifts. Just crossing fingers will make it up the cajon pass

The pick location was changed last minute. The truck was completely covered in dirt I couldn’t see out the front window. It was difficult getting the truck.The person behind the counter was busy. He wouldn’t step outside to look at dirty truck. I hope I never have to use U-Haul again. Terrible experience.

Truck was dirty inside. I had to sweep out trash before using it. Outside of truck was also dirty. Trash left inside cab and under the seat. They made me take a picture for the fuel and mileage so they didn’t have to go check for themselves.

All the rental trucks at this location are extremely dirty. I was embarrassed to drive my rental with all the damage and dirt caked on to the outside. Inside the box was no different I had to clean out all the dirt and debris from inside. Inside the cab we had peanut shells dirt and coffee all over the floor.

This location is truck stop market. The U Haul trucks are kept on a dirt lot behind the store. After obtaining keys to the rental truck, I walked out to find out the gas wasn't as indicated. The store operator gave me paperwork indicating the truck had over 3/4 gas when it actually had 1/2 a tank. Also the truck had a low air pressure light indicating the right rear tire was low. The truck was filthy. So I went to the operator and advised him of the issues. He eventually gave me a different truck. That truck was filthy with leftover trash, food, and bottles from a prior rental. The interior was dirty. The steering wheel was sticky. There were dead bugs in the vehicle. The truck had been smoked in as there was a burn in the passenger door where someone had put out their cigarette. The box was full of dirt despite the posted sign that there would be a $25 dollar fee if not swept out.

The truck we rented was from Arizona and needed a wash. The front was full of dead bugs. I did the mobile pick up and took way too long! Could be the internet issues. Moving forward (pun inteneded), I will go in person. : )

2 problems were the dolly ordered wasn’t in the truck and I rented the truck to be returned at 9:00 pm . Gates were locked so had to park outside but dropped keys in drop box. There should be instructions on where to park after hours

The guy is charging me 92 miles when I only drove the truck 60 miles. The gas miter is not working and I took the truck with no gas when the gas miter says it had 3/4. I drop of the truck last night September 5, 2024 At 7:30pm and the guy didn’t want to check the truck it’s a bad service. My first and last time

The customer service lacked. I called three different times and was hung up on. There needs to be more cohesion between the moving options, the company over the movers, and U-Haul. My movers cancelled on me last minute and nobody could assist because U-Haul and the moving company don’t communicate with one another. Giving me different numbers to call only caused frustration

Trucks located on dirt area so all trucks were dusty and the one I rented windows dirty inside and out.

The person that provided the keys, barely spoke English, and made it difficult to understand. The location where the trucks were located was a dirt lot, with lots of dust. After I left the location and traveled a distance away, I realized there was a lock on the garage door, that provides the entrance for loading. I had to hire a service Co. on a Sunday, to have it cut off. I will be requesting a reimbursement for this Invoice.

This vehicle had an empty gas tank at pickup and the low fuel light was on. A $36 credit was issued at pickup because of the empty tank yet I was required to return the truck with 1/4 tank of gas which cost more than the credit issued.

3rd time renting here. The owner of the location has the keys and can never locate the reservation even after showing the reservation on the phone. Dirt lot, poorly lit, unsafe feeling.

The customer service person that I spoke with was extremely rude and disrespectful, called me outside of my name, cussed me several times, refused to take the key and refused to listen to the complaints that I had in order to help me figure out how to make them better, he made my children and I feel extremely unsafe

When I called to verify the time the worker who answered was very rude. Upon arrival I checked in and waited a hour for someone to call and verify the pickup, I had to call uhual and have them call me back to verify, I lost a whole hour doing this. After my loading up the uhual refused to start after even trying to jump it. It took another 45 minutes to catch on. I had To leave it running at each stop in fear it wouldn’t start up again. The uhual was really dusty and dirty.! I was so unhappy with this renting and trying to move with the I unprofessional of person who answered and the truck of how it wasnt kept up and the battery dying on me.

I was told this location had an appliance dolly for my refrigerator and they did not. This is why I chose the location to pick my my Uhaul truck so the person who scheduled this for me was incorrect. The man at the store said they hadn't had an appliance dolly in weeks. I had to go to another place to get one in 105-degree weather. Very inconvenient. I would not recommend calling Uhaul but going to the store to look or somewhere else. The place Mark's Market was very dirty. We bought snacks when we returned we were hungry. They tasted strange and saw they were expired by several months.

Truck was beat up , it was in a dirt lot so it was dirty and dusty inside and out . It made noises while driving and didn't feel stable at all . Customer service was minimal they just hand you the key and you are on your own with the inspection and anything else . I would not recommend anybody to go here .

I reserved a 20 footer and got there and they wanted to give me a 15 footer because someone else needed it for the same day. So they over booked. I took 20 footer and had to bring back 5 hrs later. And I got charged for mileage!!!

Overall it wasn’t bad, just not what we are accustomed to from our regular place. Location was awkward and uncomfortable in a liquor store. Vehicle windows were not clean, dirty napkins in the cab. Vehicle seemed in need of maintenance. I would not have felt comfortable taking it much further than the 20 miles I did.

the truck was not running well but we did not know until we got on the road... AND we realized we needed a bigger truck so we called reservations before we even left their lot to upgrade the truck and they said this location could do that but then when we asked they said no. I think they just did not want the hassle. The truck was also leaking in the upper passerger side and got alot of our stuff wet. I am calling your company about that.
