It wasn't anything wrong with the locations, but I would not recommend U Haul to anyone. I asked for a truck at another location, got there and no one I talked to on the phone could give me a code to get the key to the truck. After staying on the phone for almost 2 hours, they send me to another location for a truck, get there, no truck. Ended up getting a trailer that wasn't big enough. Worst organizing I have ever seenVicky S.

This location is "remote", but the equipment storage area allowed easy access for hitching/unhitching/backing equipment into parking area. This location did not lend any assistance in connecting/inspecting the car hauler. It wasn't as much of an issue for me but if someone "less experienced" rented from this location it could be an issue.Joel L.

The initial reservation was changed on line around November 26th. I received a call the afternoon before to tell me that the truck and location I reserved on line and received comfirmation for was not available. I understand not putting anyone out to give me the vehicle I requested. I was offered a smaller truck and a different location, which worked with the time the volunteers were willing to help me. The day of pickup the person working at the new location that was given was not helpful, so we had to call the U-Haul customer service, excellent customer service received from the 2nd person we spoke with, number and it ended up that the person at the pickup location needed to contact the manager to find out how to get the key. I understand that this was not an actual U-Haul store but this was an authorized agent and not informed at all about our arrival. Will I use U-Haul again? I hope that I don't need to but with the options, I will have no choice. The next time I will do everything on the phone instead of on line.Marcus L.

Every larger location I have ever picked up from has been more than helpful with hookup and instructions. At this location, the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. I had to LIFT and hookup by myself, as a female, with help from my 80 year old mother while my 6 month child was in the car alone. I'm all for a little independence but REALLY?, no help what so ever. If that's the case, locations as such should only be allowed to rent out trucks not trailers of any sort requiring hookup.Erika B.
If you are going to have a completely mobile check in, make sure it's not at a place that has poor cell service. Truck interior was also not clean. Mud was all over the floor on the vehicle.Joseph H.

I am a first time uhaul renter. Easy online booking and pickup at this location gas station. Had what I needed nearby to me. Great friendly people and location. Recommendation: the online checkout process requires a picture to be taken of the trailer. Please make it where a file can be uploaded. I had taken multiple pics before I left and attempted to do the checkout soon after. I had to go back and get a live pic since I couldn't upload any of the ones I had taken. I know for next time, but would've been easier to upload and not go back. However, I understand you likely have it this way so nobody can upload stock photos. No receipt given. No checkin process. We were told to leave the keys in the truck and that's it. We would get an email closing out the rental. We never got an email. Very concerned about the process, we called the pick up location to make sure they knew it was returned and in good shape.MELODY K.

There was dark grease on the inside floor of the enclosed trailer. I had to clean using degreaser before I could load my belongings. Also the web site kept kicking out the employee during the paperwork. It took 30 min to rent the trailer. The employee appeared to know what he was doing, therefore attention to the site should solve the issue.Ron R.

First off I ordered the pickup from Wilson NC. I was told there were no trucks in Wilson but then rode by and saw at least three trucks at different locations in Wilson. One of those being the location I chose. After driving 30 mins east to pick the truck up at Mart 231, I get there for my 9:00am appointment and it takes 45 min to get my truck. I had to show the girl how to use the computer. It looked to be a simple system. It should have taken at most 10 mins but instead it took her 45 min to get me setup. So now at this point instead of start moving at 930 which is when I had the movers set up to be there. I am leaving Zebulon at 9:45 and then I dont get to my location until 10:30. I have now paid the movers for an extra hour that they have done nothing. In closing this location should not be a Uhaul location. It gives uhaul a bad name. The lady was incompetent. The first thing she said was "Oh no, I have only done this once or twice, I am going to have to call someone. Why are you a Uhaul location if you don't know how to do it?WESLEY E.

I drove up to this office to return truck. Stood in store for 5 minutes before the clerk came to register to assist me. After she went out to truck she came back in and looked up contract and said gas was not same as when i got truck. That it was 2 1/2 gallons short. I was like really come on. The gas was on the same thing as when i rented the truck. But she wouldn't budge so i went out side and put the freaking 2 1/2 gallons in the truck. $5.55 gas I mean come on Uhaul get a freaking life, when u start getting picky of a gallon or two of gas and ur trucks are not kept up and the customer has to clean them before they can use them and also clean to return them or be charged. This doesn't make any sense to me. But You can bet ur bottom dollar that next time i have to rent a truck i will use Ryder or budget truck rental.Michael B.

I did not originally reserve with this location but am glad I found them. I had initially reserved with Jeffrey's service station on Hwy 39 in Louisburg. After repeated phone calls on the day before to assure my trailer was there and getting no answer to my question and hung up on by the person who answered the phone I drove there to see if the trailer was there- it was not! Jeffrey's was NOT at all helpful and was rather rude about the situation. I called customer service and was assisted in finding the trailer I needed in a different location that was close to where I was. The location I rented from was wonderful! She was very pleasant and provided excellent customer service.glenda M.
