What can I say? I'll start with this, the owner really tried to make it right and refunded some money. Something is better than nothing. I moved from NY to FL. Left some stuff behind so I flew to NYC. Ubered to Wappingers (costly) got to the location only to find the keys were NOT left in the drop box or safe for after hours pick up. So I was stranded at the location, no keys, no car and in the rain to boot. Had to take an Uber back NYC only to return the next morning. U Haul's customer service simply said, "Well, try again in the morning". Useless. Marty thank you for being empathetic to the degree which you could. I applaud you for being human. I dropped the truck that I rented off at 3:26 pm when it was due back by 3:28 pm. We worked non stop to get everything out and gas the truck back up to return it on time. When we dropped it off the employees just took the keys and said the leave it where it was, nothing was signed, no receipt given. Then a few hours later I receive an email receipt charging me for an extra day stating that my drop off time was 6:03pm. I will be calling for a refund. The GPS on the truck I'm assuming can be checked to prove that it was parked at the drop off location on time.Vincent G.

It seems laborious to constantly take pictures of my drivers license for each rental. You seem to have my information in your files. Like car rental companies, it would be great if you could use what you already have. A spot check is appropriate but the hassle of take pictures at places with spotty reception or wifi is a hindrance.RAYMOND S.

Make sure that the windshield is clean on the inside and that the windshield wipers actually work. Had to replace them myself.Lance S.

We returned it after hours and the phone number I was supposed to call to verify that I returned the truck was not in service. Also the wi fi was poor in the area so I couldn't use the location feature in my u-haul app. Nevertheless, I called Marty's automotive the next morning and they confirmed everything was finalized in the system.Concetta T.

Again, the hertz app did not work. Would not take the dashboard photo. So I dropped the key in the slot. Then the location did not register drop off until 3 days late. I called them twice to make sure it got registered. Overall I will try hard never to use hertz again.Gregory F.

I rented The truck in one location and had to return it to another. My car was at the place where I rented the truck so I could pick up my car when I got back and was also told by the rental place that I can return it to him. But when it was time to return U-Haul told me I had to take it to a totally different place that was not convenient to where my car was.I was on hold with U haul for 45 minutes just to be told that I have to take it to the other place. I made an online reservation and when I arrived to pick up the truck there was no record of my reservation. I had to show my reservation details to the employee. I was told this happens all the time and that uhaul won't change because they don't care. I will never use uhaul againGEORGEEDWARD C.

The guy was a complete jerk and wouldn't take the time to check it in. Had it there 3 days early and still got charged a late fee because he was too lazy to check it at that time. Dropping it off in parking spot where he wanted it was almost impossible with the amount of junk in the lot. I would I recommend U-Haul dropping him as a dealer. I wouldn't recommend anyone using this place.Brent R.

To improve - adjust what equipment cannot be rented in certain locations. In this exact location they never had utility doilies but the website allowed me to book two different kinds and pay for them. Owner said they've been having this issue for a while now.Ekaterina S.
