I never received the equipment and I turn the truck back in the truck engine light was on I used other services from another company I want my refund

Reservation ends up being at the most Dangerous location, two roaming military working dogs without leash or collar. Incompetent uhaul process because lot owner ran a drive thru liquor store and happened to have uhaul on the property.

Maisha MThe process was not clear in the morning they sent a text message for us to upload our drivers license and then a staff member would follow up up to 11 o’clock. There was no additional information when we got over there there was no one there and then someone showed up, not very friendly at all, the return process was clear because we followed the steps on the truck, but then the store owner or whoever that individual was was rude and obnoxious. She came out with two German. Shepherds, that were not on leashes. It was not a pleasant experience at all.

Donald BThis Uhaul location did NOT check to make sure gas was out inside the rental. Nor was there the proper equipment needed for the rental. This U-Haul location then CHARGED me with stolen equipment that was never made available for me. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS LOCATION. I will be filing a claim.
Ladiedra BTo begin with, I didn’t receive any help nor acknowledgement when I first approached. Then they waited until I came back in my car to let the dogs out, still no acknowledgement even though they clearly see I needed assistance with the equipment. When I finally received the rental truck after 45 mins of going back and forth with customer service, I didn’t receive the hand truck I paid an additional $15 fee for. To make my experience even better, I received the truck with no gas. Literally 20mikes until E. This was one of my worst experience I had with this company.

James JThe agent kept walking away to service his alcohol buying customers. Did not send the link for inspection and told me to call UHaul which is what I did. Switched trucks without making the switch within the system causing my checkIn a horrible experience. Two different trucks involved but the agent did not process appropriately and caused an unnecessary lengthy delay while movers waiting on me. He became rude because I kept going back to him due to discrepancies while attempting to conduct the inspection. He really did not care about my situation after releasing the switched out vehicle. Would NEVER use this location again and would not refer anyone.
Mary DI was refused when I asked to get the truck checked back in. I was told that if he stopped to check it back in now. That it would cost me an extra 50 dollars. Because it was a Holiday. That he would check it in later. I don't believe that this is appropriate.

Dorethia HOur main issue was with the condition of the truck itself. The truck cab was filthy. It needed to be cleaned before handing over to another customer. There was ash in the cupholders and cigarillo butts. It smelled heavy of cigarettes. There was trash on the floor (empty plastic bottles) and a full can of tuna, which was kinda weird. The fuel level was empty. We were only 4 miles away from it being completely empty. However, the owner was kind and understanding and provided quality service. He offered us a gas contribution and since he didn't have all the equipment we ordered (dollies, pads, etc.) he made sure we were refunded. After we left, we discovered that the truck had a flat tire. It was not noticeable at the pick up location based on the parking lot being level. Overall, this truck needed to be inspected better before handing over to another customer to deal with the issues and poor quality conditions.
Stephen HI was originally supposed to pick up the U-Haul truck at a different location, and when I came to pick up the truck, I was told last minute that it had switched to a different location. When driving to find the location, you can barely see the U-Haul sign, because the area where the U-Haul trucks are stationed is attached to and/or associated with a beer/alcohol store. When I arrived to pick up the U-Haul, the man working at the beer/alcohol store was not helpful, disgruntled, and was very curt, offering no real explanation or direction. The U-Haul also had an unpleasant smell.
Terrence GI have never left a review like this in my life, however, after our recent experience with U-Haul, I feel it is necessary to let you know about it. Sam was absolutely incredible at the Madison, TN location. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, our U-Haul experience left a lot to be desired. At our pick up location in Lithonia, Georgia which changed after making the reservation from 5 minutes away to 25 miles away, we showed up to a run down beer barn that smelled like old beer and pee while being “greeted” by three large German shepherds who were very upset that we were even on the property. While complaining about the fact I wasn’t asked over the phone to send in my DL information and corralling her dogs, we received the wrong truck with only half of what we had reserved (no blankets, no boxes, they mixed up truck numbers and had the incorrect number of days) with dirty wet blankets and trash all behind the seats and on the floor, we couldn’t even verify the fuel or condition of the truck before leaving. HOWEVER, when we finally reached our destination in Madison, TN, Sam took the time to make sure everything was taken care of and we received the help and service we wanted. Our unit hadn’t even been reserved upon arriving but she was able to make sure she got us a unit. From renting our storage unit, to checking in the truck, our happiness was her main concern the whole time. This location was incredible and did everything they could to make it work for us and our family and we couldn’t have been happier!

Akeena WNo one was there to help because I had a mile issue asked attendant he said someone will be right out waited over 45 minutes no one came and couldn’t find the attendant again ended up getting charge 125 extra for miles when it was the issue to start with and spent another hour the following Tuesday trying to get that fix and some one hung up on me twice never mind I never raise my voice or been disrespectful kept being put on hold would not recommend this location to no one

henry cU-Haul needs to update your records of viable U-Haul dealer/service location for drop-off. The original drop off location JKS Services no longer existed. When I arrived to drop off the vehicle the building was totally empty and looked to be under renovation as construction workers were inside but no U-Haul representative. I tried to call the phone number in the contract but it did not work. I was uncomfortable leaving the vehicle at that location as there were no other U-Haul vehicles in proximity of the building or parking lot. Hence, I called the U-Haul dealer about 2 blocks up the street and explained my concern about leaving the vehicle at the other location and asked if I could change my drop-off location to his and he obliged.
Vincent RThe wife owner is very rude, she was screaming and yearling at me which I taught she was talking to her dogs. It is a drive thur liquor store which does not have an office…. She told me next time I come I need to sit in my car until she comes to attend to me. But there is no sign anywhere stating so.But I don’t want to go into detail…. Vehicles always dirty. Damages on vehicles not recorded so beware. I have no choice but to use this facility it is right near me.

Kiiursti DOwner simultaneously operates a drive through liquor store and Uhaul services with no access to an office to handle Uhaul transactions. As a result I was forced to wait more than 40 minutes before receiving keys to the reserved truck. I literally had to wait in line to drive through the liquor store to get the attention of the sales clerk. The clerk could not find the keys and had to call for another worker to report. As a result my move and the hired movers were greatly impacted, thus throwing everything off schedule. This location can improve by having a designated office area to handle rental reservations and returns. Having courtesy, respect, and value for a customer's time and prompt business protocol would go a long way in establishing customer satisfaction.

Tommy CPick up location where I made my reservation was very near my house. This pickup location that uhaul switched me to the day before scheduled date was 28 miles from my home. Not cool at all. Why let me think I am choosing a pickup location when in reality, you do the final selection. Again, not cool.

patrice wI tried to call the location several days to confirm drop off details. The phone either rang and rang or a voicemail box was made available but could not leave a voicemail. The location is primarily a liquor store and was not easily identified as a drop off location. I’m also unsure as to how the reading for the gas was determined given that I left it at a half a tank just as I received it. Yeah I was charged an additional $10.
