I was supposed to pick this trailer up in Sarnia only to find out when I got to Sarnia that I had to drive 45min out of my way to pick up the trailer then drive 45min to Sarnia to pick up the old truck I purchased. This went on in the Summertime of 2020 why am I just receiving this survey March 22 2021. Listed as my recent visit? lmao...so am I pleased...not in the least Btw neither location gave a crap about the additional almost 2 hrs of my already 6 hours of drivingMichael S.

Maybe not lose he original booking, mess up the time of the make up booking and not double your prices the day after the original bookng as well. I did get the lower price after haggling but for a larger trailer than I wanted at its price. This was a mess. Not my usual experience with uhaul but happens too often. We had originally booked through the guy at Schephens in Wallaceburg where he gave us excellent service. Dave called us to tell us the location had been switched to Dresden before the guy from Dresden even had a chance to call us. A few minutes later the guy from Dresden called us to let us know pick up was there. Excellent service there too. Would definitely deal with either one of these places again.HARRYRAYMOND R.

I highly recommend Mcbrayne Feed & supplies for Uhaul rental, the plug on our vehicle had a pc jammed into it, the guys at McBrayne's went through everything to get it fixed, the service is great, quick and friendly country place, Thanks a lotMARGARET W.

To have to drive to Dresden to pick up the trailer was a real inconvenience. We had a zillion things to do before picking up the trailer, it would of been so much easier to pick the trailer up in Blenheim or Thamesville. Being told that we would be contacted the day before to let us know where to pick up the trailer was nerve racking as we were told it could be Wallaceburg or as far as London. We truely miss having the Uhaul dealer in Ridgetown she was absolutely wonderful making sure that we could pick up the trailer at that location not where ever. People rent equipment from uhaul for whatever reason and all the unknowns doesn"t seem right when you have alot to do before picking up the rental. As the years go by we find that Uhaul is not accommodating to the peoples location and needs. Renting the trailer only to get to our destination and realizing there was no stand available to unhook the trailer to park it!There was no crank up stand to remove it from the hitch of the truck, we had to empty it first, unhook it from the truck and use a jack to hold it while we loaded it again.. That makes a GREAT beginning to our rental experience this year.. It's unfortunate that Uhaul is making it more difficult and time consuming to the renters. We are seriously thinking of other methods of a rental trailer instead of being inconvenienced with location the day before we leave,and not having the proper equipment that should be included to park the trailer to load it.RICHARD H.

You should be surveying the reservation process. This was horrendous. Current practice of overbooking trucks then at the last minute advising clients that they can't get what they booked ie 20 ft truck instead of 15â€ and that the pick up location is an extra 3 hours driving distance is apauling. This booking cost me an additional 75$ in gas and a an additional 3 hrs added to an existing 2.5 hour drive just to get to London in the first place. I would never reserve another UHall truck under these conditions.Anne S.

Used self drop off. Not much parking. 6 or so spots along the side but only 2 were open and one was quite tight. Don't believe there where any line markings. Had to remove the tow dolly and push it into a spot by hand, then park the truck in the other spot.William H.

Awful experience.Booked a 20' truck on-line on Monday for a 7:30am pick up on Saturday in Wallaceburg.U-Haul calls me at noon on Friday- 19.5 hours before I am to pick up- and tells me I am to pick up the truck in Dresden -25 minutes away from Wallaceburg.NEVER AGAIN.Mickey K.

Vehicle was clean however there were a number of things that did not function as they should. The seat belt light kept going on and off even though the seat belts were done up. The break on indicator lamp frequent came on even though the parking brake was not on. There was a loose wire hanging near the parking brake handle, probably the reason for the light malfunction. Experienced some rain during the drive and one section on the left side, 8-10 feet back from gramma's attic was wet inside when we were unloading, obvious leak.Barry B.
I had to take the trailer toToronto for my daughter then drag it home. It should not cost me to drop it off at a dealer in Toronto. I only used the trailer to move my daugter in for school on Thursday then I had to store it and keep it until Sunday because My other daughter got married in Ajax. I live 4 hrs away so the trailer was a major pain in my ass and I had to pay for it for 3 days I never used it. Convenience is supposed to the staple of your business,not seeing it , I cant say i will never rent from you again, never is along time but I am looking for some different options. ps I know this will fall on deaf ears.jim F.

I had booked trailer two weeks before pick-up for p/u in Sarnia. I had to drive 2 hours round trip from Sarnia to Dresden to pick-up trailer was in Dresden the day before. I would think that the cost would include moving to booked locationpaul C.

I was very frustrated because I had ordered a 14 foot truck and was given a 26 foot truck. I was very uncomfortable driving this size of truck the long distance I was going not to mention the added gas needed for the trip. I would suggest that if you are substituing the product ordered that this imformation be provided to the consumer prior to pickup and adequate reimbursment given for extra fuel needs. I was very happy with the customer service at both the pickup and drop off locations, being very helpful offering some compensation but their hands were tied.CATHY D.

Great friendly and attentive service through the retail outlet. Had a mix up on the billing but that was taken care of quickly after it was identified. Ordered a smaller truck from a different location initially.
