I paid for my uhaul and was approved and Given a receipt, then at pick up the owner of this location tried to convince me that my payment never went through despite me showing him my online banking and my receipt that HE provided. He also attempted to charge my card again after I had left the store. After I refused to pay DOUBLE the purchase amount we got into a shouting match and I ended up having to call the police. Don’t get a uhaul here.

The whole process and experience with UHaul was not great. First, not knowing if we even had a truck and where and what time it is being picked up until the day before moving day is stressful and not a great way to do things in my opinion. Then when we got to the location for the time we were told to show up, my truck that UHaul "guaranteed and promised" was not there, I booked a 20 foot truck and ended up having to take a 26 foot truck, which was fine, but they wanted to charge me for the 26 foot truck even though it wasn't my fault they didn't have the truck I was promised. We had to call the back office to rectify this, the whole process made me lose about 45 mins on my move time which was very frustrating. UHaul offered me no idea as to where I should be dropping my truck off, as it was a one way trip, I had to call UHauls in the area we were moving to figure this all out. All in all I would not recommend using UHaul and next time that I move I will be looking for something else.

SAMUEL RIn Kingston there are 3 UHaul locations. The biggest/main location on Princess Street is now incredibly inconvenient as there is no on site parking. The other one on Midland at Aqua Bay, a pool supply shop, has in the past been excellent but they did not have the size of truck I needed this time. I did not know about this 3rd location until Princess Street told me to "get a friend to drive you or take an Uber" to rent our truck, not good enough! I Goggled, and found this much smaller location on Armstrong Rd at Meadowbrook Variety. I took a chance they would have what I needed and they did! The store owners were wonderful, very helpful in changing my reservation to their location. I will never use the Princess Street location again, or at least not until they have somewhere to put your car. To not have parking at a truck rental location is frankly ridiculous. I live out of town, on an island, taking a cab to pay for a rental is not practical, and an unnecessary expense. I am so glad to have found an alternate rental location. ANDREW GThe only benefit is a parking spot for my car during the job. The rental car was fully covered in ice and snow, which I needed to clean myself. The lot was fully covered by snow and ice, so the car got stuck and took half an hour to pull out.

RONALD DTruck was running rough. My driver, a licenaed mechanic, tried to explain to the clerk and give a preliminary diagnosis but he seemed uninterested.
EDWARD RAbsolutely great service! However, the cost was deceiving. 4 hour truck rental ended up costing me $140 plus $20 in gas. I thought the .99 per kilometer was ridiculous. I had to pick up a bed and bring it to my home. . I will most likely not choose this option again.

Aman AOil leaked from your truck all over my driveway. Dealer did not provide me with trollies and blankets as ordered. I called the dealer on two different occasions before pickup day, and both times I was told that at least the furniture trolly will be provided, but at the time of pick up nothing other than the beat up truck was provided. Extremely poor customer service. Absolutely unreliable. I'll post a google review to let everyone know about my experience.

MICHAEL HEquipment we ordered (moving pads) was not there. Information provided by Uhaul, online, specifically stated in the email confirming the order, and in a phone call specifically confirming the info, was wrong. Everything said we could pick up the specific vehicle with a Debit card with major CC logo (i.e. Visa) which we have. We were told vans must be rented on credit cards and so only a 10' truck could be used. Dodgy. In the end, had to ETRANSFER THE CASH!!! Ultra dodgy! Totally unimpressed. Will most definitely ONLY USE UHUAL main depots from now on.

Parminder sFast and efficient, I appreciate that it was clear where to park and the counter was marked. Their hours are longer than stated online, call ahead if you need to pick up or drop off outside of the stated hours - they were able to accomodate my drop off no problem.
