I couldn't find the office, it was not well marked and was confusing.KENNETH R.
The roll up door was sticking. Each time it was opened it had to be pried up with a large pry bar. Once it was open about a foot it would open normally. The agent was aware of this at the time of pickup.DL D.

This location was unaware that I was bringing a 6x12 trailed in for return. The tongue weight is so great that I could not remove the trailer from my truck by myself. Fortunately the U-Haul rep was able to help me. It was also a bit difficult to determine upon initial arrival where to leave the trailer. This appears to be a systemic issue with U-Haul. The big, well staffed, highly visible U-Haul Moving Centers are being replaced by tiny hole in the wall locations. It makes the job of moving harder on the customer.Keith C.

I was charged for 4 gallons of gas which is not correct.....unless the truck gets 5 miles per gallon. Also I was charged 4 dollars per gallon when the gas station has it for 2.49 a gallon 1 mile away. I will never rent a uhaul again. Biggest rip off, charge for the rental, $1 a mile, $4 gas and adding miles to what actually was driven by me. Do yourself a favor and ask a local farmer to help you move!Kari C.
Have repeatedly been charged additional amounts every week (3 weeks later) despite paying in full at rental. Called to resolve issue and told I had to contact 800 number at UHAUL. Called them, they fixed the issue the first time and then an additional charges posted to credit card a week later. No further rentals utilized. Charges had already been paid in full yet additional rental charges continued to appear on credit card. Very frustrated. STOP CHARGING MY CARD!Andrew J.

If the customer has a previous balance you should let them know before they rent the truck and not the day of. Also when you try to rent by phone it should be easier. I had a lot of difficulties and spoke to customer service 3 times before the situation was corrected. I doubt that I will ever rent from uhaul again because if this experience.Diane R.

The odometer needs to be checked before a customer uses the truck because my starting mileage said on the printout 41796 MI OUT but in reality it was 41959. I picked it up at 10am on 10/28/17 & returned the truck when the business was closed at 1pm with mileage of 41994. I was charged for 198 miles which is impossible in three hours unless I was doing 60 to 70 miles per hour steadily. I drove by at 3pm & people were trying to get the keys out of the lock box & at 3:30 people were getting in the truck. I was already overcharged for mileage that wasn't mine and I refuse to pay even more if someone is taking the trucks unauthorized. It's not the store owners fault but better measures need to be taken to insure honest people like me do not get ripped off by ignorant people going around the system and taking the trucks illegally.Marlene P.

They had the truck available and ready for pick up, so that was good. The customer service was on the slower side, and the attendant just pointed to where the truck should be to the back of their lot and walked back inside. Normally they walk you to the truck, or even better, drive the truck to the office for you and check the condition, gas situation, and cleanliness. That all said, they had the truck available, so it a was successful visit and transaction.John C.

This location was clean and the owner was professional, curteous and very helpful, however, the location was way out of our way. There were 2 UHaul stores much closer and we would've made different arrangements, had we known we would be sent all the way to Newark to pick up a truck to use in Bloomfield. We spent 2 hours driving around trying to find this location. We had mapped the route from Farmington, the location we thought we were reserving from. When we received the printed confirmation online, it should've specified then that we would be picking up the truck from a different location and we could've mapped out the correct route, instead of driving 2 counties from where we needed to load the truck to pick up a truck. Having your customers drive all over is not good customer service. Yes, the contract specifies that the equipment we want may not be available at the location we chose, but it should specify which location we can get it at before we leave home. Once we're already on the road, we no longer have computer access and it's difficult nowadays to even buy a plain old map. We wasted a lot of time, extra miles and gas, which probably wouldn't have been so frustrating if we had planned for it in the first place, but having someone call and do business on the spot over the phone, is not the way I want to do business and I won't do it again. We've used UHaul, on average every 2-3 years for the last 30yrs. It's always been quick and easy to get a truck, and cost effective, but the frustration we had after this rental will prevent me from EVER renting a UHaul again. The dropoff was another catastrophe.
