ANDREW MThe vehicle was unsafe to drive. Roadside assistance was unavailable, so U-Haul called a tow truck, the tow truck came unprepared, so I had to call u haul a second time to arrange a tow after a long day of moving. I called to share our experience, we were offered a $50 refund. The vehicle was unsafe to drive and I spent an hour calling to get the truck towed after a day of moving. My husband was put at risk with this vehicle and the additional stress of having to arrange two tow trucks was not helpful at $50 felt a bit insulting.
ISAIAH JWe were not informed that the furniture pads had to be folded when dropped off and were charged a $25+tax cleaning fee as a result (drop off was at a different location).

MAURICE LThe location was fine. The problem was that I reserved a truck in Montreal, for a move from Montreal to Toronto. Late in the day before the scheduled rental, I was emailed to say that there were no trucks in Montreal. This left no time to find an alternative for the previous scheduled move. The only option offered by U-Haul was for me to drive two hours to Ottawa, pick up a truck there and then drive two hours back to Montreal with our personal vehicle and the truck. While I appreciate that the extra mileage was not charged, the fact is that I had to use gas and, more importantly, time to deal with U-Haul’s own problem. This was completely unacceptable and it is very unlikely that I will ever use the company or suggest it to anyone again.

Justin KOur truck was parked behind another truck and it took nearly 45 minutes to get someone to move it. We had to remind them and the person we spoke with hadn't even told anyone yet. The store is cluttered and dingy and unwelcoming. The in-person process is murky. The man was rude.

Xavier BThe instructions to raise and lower, the tongue of the trailer was only in French. The location was closed at 4:50 PM.It took me longer than necessary to figure out how to remove the trailer from my hitch. Having the instructions in English on a label fixed to the trailer, would’ve been helpful. The hours of the location do not stay open late.

Jessica PEmployee was helpful Booking with the App was convenient but integration of App and local business process wasn't so smooth. I paid at the store on pickup, and when I tried to return the trailer via the App it wanted to charge me again. I just asked the employee to mark it as returned but the App should have known it was already paid for.
