There is a zero chance that most people feel that this space is inviting, nor confidence-inspiring. Do you not visit your rental locations and perform audits? How does this location pass all of your inspection criteria? It could be run by a mafia. Not kidding. The outside reminds me of retail locations in Cuba. Just go and take a picture of the outside of the strip mall and ask yourself if that is a place you would like to visit. I wouldn’t send my daughter there, that is for sure.

The trucks are behind a strip mall, and it’s a long walk to the office when the app doesn’t work when you are picking up your vehicle. There was very limited parking in the lot, and when I returned the vehicle another car was parked in front of mine.

Dan WOne way drop off from Ottawa to Toronto. The staff at Ottawa location had told me that I can drop off at any location in Toronto. I had drove 6 hours to drop off at the location in my reservation email. The location (456 Parliament Street) refused to accept, and the staff was only stating their own needs with zero customer service. They had also put a sign that they were closed around 6 pm, however, the hours of operation on U-Haul website stated they were opened until 8 pm. Wasted time and gas to drive to another location (which was charged by U-Haul). Terrible experience, was left to deal with their own mistake.

Amit SRight rear view mirror was not functioning. It was towards the trailer and if I adjust it will move out and see nothing behind. It was very risky specially driving in the night time. Only the small mirror was able to see but the big mirror was useless and made it unsafe.

Johanna CI had originally booked over a month before the date at a different location (Cedarview in Barrhaven). I spike with them the day before pick up and all was great. The day of, I get there and the place is closed. Tried calling no answer and voucemail box was full. No trailers on the lot! As you can imagine, I was panicking. So, I reached out to the Merivale locationand they were amazing! Very friendly, lots of stock. Helped me to attach the trailer to my truck and sent me on my way!! I will tell everyone to use that location!

Abdulkadir AI booked the U-Haul in July in Aylmer, a day before - they called me to tell me that I have to got to 1515 Mervale (40 minutes from the location a day before) and now I am charged 3 days instead of 2 as agreed before because i brought back the truck at 3PM instead of 9 AM. Unbelievable that I had to go 20km further and still get charged 3 days!

Carlo DThe 6X12 trailer that I had reserved was not available which is a U-Haul problem. I had to move so I took a smaller trailer 5X8 trailer and took 2 trips instead of 1 using expensive fuel. When I investigated the $50 compensation if the reserved product is not available I find that since I took a 5X8 I am not eligible. So, I spend more time and money on my move BECAUSE U-Haul did not ensure the reserved trailer was available yet I am ineligible for compensation.
