Walked in to people smoking and tried to stay outside. Lady was trying to check us back in and kept loosing internet
BRANDY ROnly would I recommend this place if you did not need to go into the establishment to deal with transactions. The whole place reeked of cigarette smoke. There was actually a big cloud throughout the rooms. The place was disgusting. Our clothes smelled of cigarettes. The drop off box was covered in bugs and spider webs. I’m not one to be too picky but this place was very dirty. The people were exceptionally nice though.
Karen AAfter hours drop off. It was hard to figure out where to park the truck (dirt parking lot) and where to put the keys.

diana mWhen I dropped off the person working there said to leave the keys on the counter and they will check it in later. I didn't get to see them check in the rental. I also was waiting for about 15 minutes before he poked his head in the door.

Devin MWhen I pulled into their lot which was in poor condition and the building in disrepair, a man yelled from a truck to move the U-Haul across the highway and back it in, then eave the key on the desk. He would check it in later. I was hoping to be there while he looked it over.
Charles Zkeep communication lines open. My original location was cancelled, I had to drive 22 miles to another location that told me the Dolly was in the original location.
Richard BWhen using the U-Haul I had no heat and I had to keep on wiping the windshield because it was snowing n cold out. I am very disappointing because I almost got into an accident because I had to keep on leaning forward and wiping the windshield so I was able to see.
Jackie RNot the fault of this location, but it was extremely surprising to learn that one-way dropoff was not an option (even though it allows to select it on the reservation on U-HAUL app) until it was time to sign the contract. More communication would be better to plan in advance or not feel misled at the very least.

Nicholas PI live in etters PA and needed a trailer to go to york. When I went to the uhaul that I requested to pick up at they proceeded to tell me my trailor was in DUNCANNON PA! I really needed the trailor for that day so I sucked it up and figured I would call after I was done and request to drop it off at a more convenient location, NOPE! After being on hold for hours and even being disconnected after waiting for 30 minutes I was told that I would be changed a fee of 125.00 if I were to drop it off somewhere that was convenient for me. The whole experience was so much waisted time on my end. That wasn’t the location that i put down for my pickup and not only did I have to drive out of my way to get it but I was forced to do uhauls job
keith uI didn't drop the truck off they switch the trucks because there was a gas leak. They took that truck from me which I had just filled up with a full tank of gas that cost me $74.79. The truck that was given to me had a half a tank of gas in. So I paid for a full tank of gas and never got to use it. That was only a fraction of the horror that I've gone through. I'm just so done I really don't want to talk to any of you ever again but unfortunately I have too. I hope you can get your act together because this is been extremely frustrating.
Donna FThe place where we picked up the Uhaul truck was very dirty and unorganized. This was the second location we had to visit to get a truck because the first truck had been wrecked the night before and the storage company sent us to another location. The truck was not ready when we got their and had to wait on someone else to show up to give us the truck. This put us at least 3 hours behind schedule due to having to go to another location and again wait on someone to show up.
alfred KYou can have equipment ready, as reserved. We then talked with a Tom, regional manager, who presented as helping us financially, to make up for our inconvenience, but actually did not do so at all
SANDRA RRenting the truck via phone is supposed to make it convenient for the customers. In my opinion it complicated the process. Took me 45 minutes just to get the keys. The only reason for two stars is the vehicle was clean.
TIMOTHY CUhaul should consider Allowing 26’ trucks to be picked up at This location. Never see any there. I wanted a 26’ truck but had to travel out of my way to get one. Settled for a 20’ truck so I could stay local and deal with the local dealer in my area.
joe mHitch was so rusted. After hooking up to car, trailer came off on I81 in Harriburg at 55mph. Never rent a trailer from u-haul, ever. When I called the 800 # there only concern was where is the trailer. Not if my family and I were OK. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

michiel mwas told vehicle was in good shape. Had windshield chip, wipers were terrible, two large scratches not noted. Location very dirty.
Stan CThe truck's roof leaked. Many of my possessions got wet/ruined. It rained all day which caused standing water in the truck from the leak.

As a matter of fact they were closed at 6:45 the pickup time even though they said they were opened until 7pm. They never called and when I called the next day they never returned call. This was Derry Dollar Store
