I would not recommend this location just because my location should have been in Junction City, Kansas not in Manhattan Kansas if there is not equipment available in Junction City I should have been notified in plenty of time that they could’ve got equipment there
Kenneth BThe local location was excellent. Uhaul's inadequate software caused me to wait for twenty minutes to rent a dolly and there were five people stuck in line behind. I will look for alternative rental solutions in the future due to the delay.

Suzanne SThe location I finally had to go to was nice and they were kind. But the first location I was directed to was not OPEN, and the U-Haul website said it was open until 8. They no longer take trucks at that location. So I had to go another 20 minutes farther and return the vehicle. More milage more gas and longer time to return home. The problem is not with the pick up and drop off place, the problem is UHAUL its self. And your poor drop-off and pick-up people hear the problems and you don't!

Karri KWe arrived a few minutes after the uhaul portion closed but they directed us to the app and had us just drop it off as an after hours drop off.
Joshua qError was made on the paperwork. We discussed dropping the truck off in Lawrence but they still put Manhattan. We called about the issue and they said it wasn’t a problem that we could drop it off in Lawrence and they would change it. Instead I was charged $370 for a mistake they made. I’ve called multiple times and have received no help.

RUSSELL AIncrease uhaul staff of off set pick up times by 15min increments. There was 2 workers and 5-6 people trying to pick up at 0800. Not the workers fault they were quick and professional.
Charley MMake a loading ramp available, to rent or otherwise temporarily use, so that the 6x12 enclosed is more versatile. I realize you made better money by making me rent a second, ramped enclosed, but I don't even get a discount for renting 2 in one day.

KAREN HDrop off was at Ace Hardware. The U-Haul counter had closed before I got there for the drop of. Store associate told me I would have to do a mobile return then directed where to park the trailer. Process was smooth.
DERRICK JFirst off I had something come up with work so I was going to miss my original pick up time. Got a call from a Kansas City number and the person on the other end was real rude. And the rental center one gentleman in particular was very rude. I declined the $30 dollar coverage to the gentleman helping me and before the one helping me could explain the gentleman standing there kept interrupting him. Him and another worker were also talking bad about a customer they had just helped to. Thank god I don’t need a Uhaul truck again I will never rent from this place again.

MATTHEW EThere was an "Ealert" by mistake on our account. I had to stand in the store and call the 800# for over 45 minutes, and the employees acted as if I was a criminal, and embarrassed me, it was a CLERICAL Error and the lady at the 800# was very nice, and apologized to me, and she cleared the alert. There were no pending charges, or anything. So when I went back up to the counter, the VERY rude person said , " It's MY DISCRETION whether I rent to the "people" who have E Alerts or not even if it's cleared". I explained that I had just stood there for 45 minutes, when it was NOT an error of mine, and it was a clerical error in the return. He shrugged and said "okay" as if he didn't believe me, and then again repeatedly said, It was his discretion. I told him that's frustrating and now we are at one hour and since my card was already charged, are we gonna rent it or not. He argued with me about my card, I showed him and he said it was an authorization but if not WASNT HIS PROBLEM, WAS UHAULS. Got the trailer, and on our way. We have several choices, and rent often, I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER return to ace hardware nor will my business account, who rents frequently. I was floored at how they treated me, and then some people may not have an extra $600 in their account or card to hold funds twice, luckily I do, but they didn't even apologize. It also wasted a couple hours of my moving time due to the clerical error as well. My drop off location is in Tucson, this review is for Manhattan KS. Tucson gets a 5/5. The man on the phone was amazing and the drop off was flawless. Tucson was great. This rating is only for Manhattan
