My experience started with a call less than 15 hours before my pickup was to occur. The call indicated althat the size of truck I reserved was not available and only a 26' (vs 15') would be made available. I expressed my disappointment with this, but because I had to get my father moved this one day, I accepted and made my way the next morning. On route, I called to confirm my reservation and ensure the truck would be there as I had lost all confidence in your reservation system. Little did I know, that would just be the start. Upon arrival I was informed the 26' I confirmed was not actually there and the nearest location to pick up was 30 minutes away. Already pressed for time, I had to go since I only had the one day to get moved. Upon arrival there in the remote area of New Brunswick, I wasn't able to do the self serve option as the person who changed my location pick up also changed from am to pm, so nothing was working. I called the number listed and was bounced around from two customer service reps until I told the last one not to transfer me as I had to get the truck. Now way behind schedule I was growing very impatient, and was asked to send phone numbers of people who could verify I was actually going to do what I said I was doing, picking up the truck, and then, I had to take a picture of my face to send it in as verification that it was me. This part took a while as I mentioned I was in a remote area and service on my phone wasn't good. Finally, after over two hours I got the key code and got on with my business. This has to be the worst experience I have ever had trying to rent something. I want all my money refunded, which I told the customer service reps to note on my account as I spent way more in gas traveling to pickup the rental, and drive it from NB to NS. I was so far behind that I need to make another trip back as we couldn't finish in the time we were left with, and that is even more of an added cost. Please respond ASAP to confirm the refund, and if I don't hear back I will be calling my credit card company to tell them the same thing and ask the charges be reversed. I was really upset to know that uhaul wasn't able to accept the debit card I booked the trailer with originally and had to use a credit card when I got to pick it up. Nobody told me that I couldn't use debit until I got there. Also I originally booked a different sized trailer and got a call to confirm the pick up the day before and was told the trailer I scheduled was 2 hours away from where I selected to get it from. I should have been told sooner if that was the case to try and make different arrangements. Because of this, I had to change all my plans I had for months when I originally booked it.AILEEN S.

Donc nous avons dÃ» louer un diable dans un autre rental et Ã§a nous a coÃ»tÃ© plus de 60$ plus taxe quand nous aurions dÃ» payer 12$ avec la location du camion. De plus les couvertures aussi pratiques qu elles soient, elles Ã©taient vraiment pleine de peluches ce qui Ã©taient dÃ©sagrÃ©ables pour les matelas ou sofaâ€¦.. donc en rÃ©sumÃ© la qualitÃ©- prix du camion est excellent mais trÃ¨s dÃ©cevant pour les accessoires.CARL C.

Would reccomend never using uhaul. They gave our 26ft truck away 2 times in Moncton NB and left us with 2- 6x12 pull trailers to move an entire house across Canada, leaving us to have to make multiple trips fom Alberta to NB just to get all of our belongings. This has resulted in a very nice lawsuit against Uhaul. Beware !!CATHERINE GALE U.

Mike's Service Centre was excellent â€¦The rest of the experience was terrible. We had 8 UBoxesâ€¦it was impossible to get a reliable response from anyone in the Quebec offices. Delivery of the boxes was a nightmareâ€¦as was their pick up. Overallâ€¦ a terrible experience. Never again!!ALAN H.

I requested a 10 foot truck for 24hrs - I received a call witin minutes to confirm my order. I was then called the day before pick up and told it was not available and I would need to take a 15 foot for the same price. When I got there to pick it up, I was told it needed to be returned by 5pm same day - THIS IS NOT WHAT I REQUESTED - I was then given a 20 foot truck for the same price - This truck was too big for my needs and caused grief as i had to find a place to park such a large vehicle.JOS CHARLES R B.
After paying for my rental I am charged again for over 110$ plus 90$. After talking to a representative they asked me to talk to my bank. Pretty sure it has nothing to do with my bank if you took a second charge on my account and cannot put it back. What am I suppose to say to my bank, give me back my money that u-haul took from me?? Been over a month now and still did not see no funda returned. I'm 100% this was intentional and I am not the first that this happens..Marc G.

The inside of the cab was for of crumbs from the last rentor and the gas measurement mileage was not what was quoted on the contract, so I took a photo of the mileage and gas gage. When I brought the truck back, I again took a photo to show the owner that I returned it as it was and it was proven by the mileage. He said I should have come in prior to leave, which in retrospect I understand but is also why I took the photo! Had he advised that if there were discrepancies to come in a let him know prior to leaving, I would have. I would rent from u-haul again but not from that IDIOT!MarkG J.

Both the rental location and U-Haul individuals were friendly and able to deal with the issues, but this is my 4rth U haul rental and still problems with process. The rented unit was not available and i needed to get a more expensive option, but they were going to provide me with a credit to offset the cost difference. Gave me attitude was closed all weekend so we parked the uhaul in the lot and brought the keys we were going to go back up Monday morning and before i even woke up i got a call Getting yelled at because there was no keys in the truck when we didn't want the truck to get stolen oven the weekend! I arrive there he laughed in my girlfriend face and gave me attitude because i didn't put the key in a box that wasn't there and gave me a two day extra cost when its hes fault it was closed and he wasn't there i did everything i could and i just wanted my 100$ deposit back and then i get told i have to pay over 200$ because pf stuff out of my control!! As stated by previous customers and also found in other review platforms, the owners show a pattern of charging fraudulent fees such as cleaning when obviously not necessary and coverage that was not selected by the customer. In years of utilizing U-Haul's services in various provinces, I have never experienced this. Avoid this location.jean-pascal L.
