The person at the building was extremely rude and unhelpful. The van smelled so bad that we had to drive with the windows down! The cigarette smell in the building and in the van were unbearable. I tried to check in online, and the app kept saying it would text a code, but never did. So, we had to deal with the grumpy, unfriendly person inside the store.Gwendolyn B.

The cost was more than I expected. The BIG $19.95 signs on the trucks are typical deceptive marketing ploy. I had the truck for less than 2 hours and drove less than 30 miles and my bill was $54.00. False advertising. My bad for not understanding better before I rented. The location and the staff were fine.Susan G.

Owner of this location was extremely rude at pick up and even worse at drop off. Truck was dropped off two hours past the contract time and insisted he was going to charge a two day rental (his pick up window didn't allow for later pick up). He was too busy doing an oil change with is other business to properly check me out and screaming and swearing to use the drop off box, refusing to do a drop off inspection. This was the worst rental experience I've ever had and will NEVER rent from U-Haul again. Your on-line process of picking the unit up and returning it was impossible to do. In fact, the owner of the oil change station did the pick up process because your system of having 2 people verify the pick up is totally ridiculous! Return of uploading so many photos was also very time consuming and it took a long time to do. I was very vulnerable to sit at the back of a parking lot at 10pm in the night by myself uploading pictures of the Oil Change parking lot, location of drop off and photos of inside and outside the truck. Price was OK but definitely NOT worth all the hassle it took to deal with your rediculus and time consuming system. Truck interior was completely wet and by wet I mean very wet including the instrument panel. The attendant wiped it down but determined the windshield was not sealed. I had no choice but to take this vehicle as they did not have others. I taped the winshield prior to my trip as we had rain that day. Very disappointed in the quality of the truck.Gary K.

The location and their service was fine and very acceptable. However I was expecting to receive a call within 24 hours of my move-rental pick up time from 1-800 Uhaul to confirm where my pick up would me. However I didn't receive a call or and email notification. When I called to confirm, the automated system said you were having trouble and to try back later. I found that very unprofessional and frustrating.Kelly P.

The online check-in process was abysmal. Standing in a hot parking lot, trying to get to the right web pages, taking photos of ID and waiting for verification - not pleasant. Then the provided PIN didn't open the box. Then when the proprietor opened the box with a master key, there were no truck keys in the box. Finally, the truck keys were found in the key return box. 30 minutes of unnecessary frustration. You can do better.bill H.

I was told can you have the vehicle back by 6 and I told the gentleman yes. I had the vehicle back by 545, he came out and said your late you were supoose to be back in 6 hours. So we batted back and forth, I was charged 80+ dollars to rent your vehicle for 8 hours.Lisha B.

Uhaul need to explain the process you have to use to drop off a truck after hours. It is not explained or listed on any paperwork. I was told I had to just lock the truck, drop the keys in the lock box & then check out using my phone APP... WRONG!!!Michael J.

It would not let me in the app, then when I finally got in it said the truck was cancelled. Could not get my online reservation to work at the Milford Oil Change. They had to put in a new reservation and ended up with the wrong hours, 6, when I originally had a 24 hr rental. The next morning when I went to use the trailer I checked the tire pressure. Three were 50-55psi, spec is 65psi cold. The fourth was at 5psi...glad I checked! The tread on this tire was also past the wear indicators. Brakes seemed questionable when trailer was unloaded. I should not have to even think about these things when I pick up a rental trailer. Glad the tire didn't blow because I'm sure I'd have to take the blame.Andrew D.

The rental equipment was dirty. It would be good if u-haul could provide basic training to the attendants so they would be able to provide better assistance to the customers. The system for confirming identity that involves calling a person or a passport needs to be better explained before it takes place so that people can be prepared. I tried multiple contacts who did not pick up the call initially because it was unexpected and was thought to be a spam phone call. It's honestly not a great system and needs to be reconsidered.Frank P.
