I was moved to this location from the Agoura Hills where I normally go. Staff was confused as to who did “U-haul”. I was directed to an empty vehicle bay with dirty floor and trip hazards. Dangerous. I was handed an iPhone to face time with someone in a car to do the check in. If they didn’t have competent staff on site it should have just been an after hours self check in (which I’m familiar with). Would never use this location again!!

I don’t mean to suggest that the vehicle was disappointing in terms of its cleanliness other than the fact that the back compartment had sand and dirt in it as well as the driver’s side floor. I think a simple vacuum would’ve given a very good feeling. The representative who was there in person was FANTASTIC! Great personality, very upbeat and a pleasure to meet. I thought the registration over a cell phone was a bit exhausting as was all the steps that needed to be taken of taking pictures all over the vehicle and the vague and ambiguous language about having to send or not send or upload or not upload certain pictures seem to go in circles and then caused me to get cut off and start all over again. At 4:45 when I was there to pick up my car, the person who I was supposed to be online with was late and finally, I was arranged to speak with him by telephone. He was not terribly late, but I thought I had filled everything out online such as my drivers license and other things but I had to repeat these events saying text messages back-and-forth. The photographing of the vehicle was a hassle and there was no front license plate whether that’s important or not. Again a good vacuum would’ve been nice, especially given the fact that there’s a vacuum machine right there on the premises, but I’m only saying that because if I did not return the vehicle Klien, I would likely hear about it so why not be given a clean vehicle. Also, the dashboard was sticky as if somebody had rested a couple of sodas on there or spilled something sticky. I wiped it up the best I could. I would still use this facility when I have the need and so I don’t want to sound like I’m saying anything negative other than I thought the process of driving out was long and I’m accustomed to having somebody walk to my vehicle. Look around it check the information and move on from there. Since I’ve paid the extra $15 for damage prevention, why did I really need to take before and after pictures of the vehicle? What difference would’ve made? Again, let me finish this comment by saying the representative there at the facility was wonderful, the vehicle drove very nicely and smoothly and was quite adequate for what I needed. As you can see from my mileage, I hardly drove the vehicle.

They are really a smog shop and the mechanics were busy! One tech said, "Lock the truck and drop the key in the drop box"..... Then I got charged for two extra days...... but Chris Shoemaker resolved it.... Thx!
