Christina LWe were mitre than disappointed with uhalls Communication with us, it was unacceptable. We originally were to pickup 15’ truck in Minersville Pa. The day before our pick up date, we decided to confirm. We were told there was no truck available, kee in mind, we reserved our truck Sept 2. Never expected this. We were then told to go to Shillington, Pa to pick up a truck. First of all Shillington is out of our way, and secondly, they had NO TRUCK for us. We ere told to then go to original location in Minersville Pa. , to be disappointed again when we were givin a 20’ truck. Please understand, we are traveling from Williamstown NJ to our destination 3 hours away. Why did this happen? It certainly wasn’t the fault of the local rental people, but on YOUR END. This let a very sour taste for UHAUL and your operation. I want an explanation and expect a phone call. The rental was in my husbands name, Kevin Larson, the credit card is in my name. CURTIS MI gave the site 24 hour notice that I would pick up the next day. Instead of preparing the vehicle they gave me a vehicle that was really low in tire pressure (53 psi when it should be 80) and no wiper fluid. they didnt even have a compressor to pump up tire. I pumped up tore to 80 and the truck sat overnight after loading it. next morning i check tire and it was 69psi. Did not appreciate getting a vehicle that clearly had an issue with a slow leak and nothing was done about it ahead of time.
Thomas FDropped off on a day they were closed. Nothing to do with the location but..The online return system is a mess. No where was there the option to download pictures of the truck. I took pictures and stuffed the key in the slot (which was an effort because of the key ring). An hour later I go back on the site and the option to download pictures was there. So i did so. However, there was an additional task that was not on the page previously which was to drop off the rental agreement. The page had previously said to keep it for you records. So i drove back to the location to put the agreement in the slot. VERY CONFUSING.
Sean WI went on the U-Haul app and reserved a trailer for $34 and when I got there my reservation was a motorcycle trailer which usually costs $14.50 a day. You ripped me off in my opinion.
Gregory ROur dolly was wrong size and had no straps to secure furniture it was used for, seems we were given one smaller due to unavailability of the correct sized one I reserved wc made it a difficult situation moving several tall and heavy items that itwas needed for.

Patrick MI was a little upset because when I got in the truck it had a bad odor, and nothing was wiped. So I had to wipe and disinfected the truck. Other wise the service was fast, and I did not have to wait, and the gentlemen that helped me, was very nice and all the paper work was done fast Good Service.

Laura MI questioned mileage allotted because initially not what I was told. I told the man that and it wouldn’t be enough. He said he was going off what he’s told on the computer and told me to relax. This angered me. He told me I had to go to the gas station it was on empty. 4 miles to empty. I just made the gas station. The truck sputtered in. A quarter tank would’ve been expected. U haul made good by refunding money but at the time it was a huge inconvenience time wise for me.

John TThe location was great but the first trailer did not have working brake lights. Mike ran to Hamburg, to another business, on his own time, to pick up another trailer for me. That trailer also did not have working brake lights. The uhaul representative on the telephone was no help, as well as one of Mike’s managers. I would absolutely do business with Miners Auto again but never ever U-Haul because of their unprofessionalism and unwillingness to help.

Kyle RThe key was not in the drop box. I got there at 7am for the 24 hour pickup. Didn’t leave until 7:45 when the owner of the business showed up to unlock the actual building and get my key. Terrible experience. Also they did not have my furniture pads, which I paid for. Will be calling for a refund. Total joke.

John KEasy to get to and find, however when I arrived to pick up the truck I saved I was greeted only to find my reservation was cancelled!!!! I spent 90 minutes on the phone with haul in the pouring down rain trying to get the reservation straightened out. This put me behind with getting the truck loaded and everything. I never got a break or anything for the hassle of getting the truck, no discount, free miles or anything after somebody screwed up! I disputed the charges only to have them “take” the money from my account for the full amount! Horrible the girl from haul got me set back up and reservation back on, but as I said- 90 minutes later... I thought they would’ve given me at minimum a discount or a day free or something for my trouble and hassle! I don’t think I will use I haul again :(
