This has nothing to do with the location in particular but U-Haul in general. I booked the truck for 2 days from the Kemptville location (8 kms from my house) and received the booking confirmation. The very next day U-Haul changed the booking moving my pick up to the Moodie Dr location (40 kms away). Bottom line the pick up and drop off of the truck would have been 16 kms (8 X 2) but not it turned out to be 80 kms (40 X 2). Right off the bat $95.0 in my mileage was on the drive home with the truck and drive back to return the truck as comparted to what should have been $19.04. I feel I should be compensated for the fact that U-Haul made the booking as requested but then changed the location and my expense!

Paul SIt was self return so I had no contact anyone at this location. However I could not return the truck where it was originally agreed to return it ( Uhaul 3990 Prince of Wales Drive, Nepean, ON). The worker I met was very rude, very unhelpful, could not show some atom of empathy about my experience picking and returning this truck and worst of all sent me to a wrong direction. Shockingly this is the second time I am being sent away from this location after booking a return. I will surely avoid them as hell!

MATTHEW SIf you’re moving long-distance and need a place to store your belongings temporarily, there are facilities that offer specialized storage services for that. If I had known this sooner, I could have saved a lot more money.
HANGIL SThe people and the equipment at this location were friendly and professional. I gave U-Haul a low score because we originally booked with a location that was very near our house and the location of our storage unit of which we needed to move out of. After booking on line a customer agent called and said the truck size we needed was not available at that location. When I asked why it showed it online and that I got a confirmation email she said it just wasn’t and we’d have to get a truck from a location further away. Which when we were getting charged by the kilometre made it costly. I asked for several other alternatives such as having a truck moved to our preferred location from another one. To which she said they don’t do that. Yet the truck we ended up with had an Arizona licence plate. At the end of the day the move should have cost 40$ but ended up being 85$ plus 26$ in gas. Having requested equipment available at the customers preferred location makes a difference.
