Explained the issue with the contract changes and the blankets being lost during drop off and they stated it would be fine I was good there was no extra charges. Same location proceeded to try and back charge me days later. Called manager at drop off location and they stated they would resolve the issue contract was just incorrect due to changes. Received an email from Uhaul stating I owed this money. Called the provided number and provided information about the contract and changes. Was told that someone would reach out in 48 hours. No follow up assumed issue was resolved. Received letter from collection agency.Caleb H.

The ordering process was HORRIBLE!!! The website didn't recognize my truck and said that the trailer couldn't handle the vehicle I was towing even though it was WELL within the tolerances. Finally got that resolved with the order and then the problem reoccurred when it was time to get the paperwork filled out do I wasted MORE time as your representative struggled through the process. If I had an option I would have taken it. Will likely look elsewhere the next time I rent similar equipmentRichard B.

When making a reservation. One should be able to look at the units at a particular location, and know that that location has that unit. To be told a location has a unit, make your reservation, on line, verify your reservation, on line, then when you get to the location only to find that they don't have a unit there that was verified online is very frustrating.Marvin L.
We were given the option of hooking up ourselves or they could have had someone do it for us. I highly recommend them doing it for you. The trailer does not have a jack attached to it. The tongue was just sitting on some sort of stand that I know now should have stayed at the original rental location.Constance E.

Give more of a discount or be more in line with Budget trucks prices. The truck we used had a serious problem with the right, front tire/wheel/brake. The light in the cargo area kept going off while we were trying to unload our belongings. The truck was clean but not well maintained because of the problem with the front end that made terrible noises.LARRY H.

I choose the insurance plan on my equipment cost 30$ For 30$ it cover a lot the new car I it is purchased and loaded onto the trailer any damage done to my truck if the car had come off and hit my truck or if the car had come off and struck another vehicle or object what a very cheap and inexpensive way to get a peace of mind anything can happen especially when you move a large or short distance mine was 479 miles traveled without any Problems the car hauler towed straight even and had all the tools necessary to lock the car down onto the trailer your customer should think what if I know sometimes it sounds pushy when people are trying to sell you insurance on your products but what if if you had state limits of insurance and you did not take your insurance and the trailer come loose from your vehicle and struck to three maybe four cars in an accident what would that have cost you again what a great way to spend $30 to know your safe William CaudillWilliam C.

customer service was terrible. noone communicated our special circumstance even though we were standing there and the previous rep from corporate advised her to call them, the charge could not be done over at their location. She instead charhged my card and assured me my dads card would be used.I was in Texas 5 days later and realized I hAD IN FACT BEEN CHARGED. When i called to correct it,she was rude and completely unhelpful. I called the corporate office and spoke w/ Amanda. Woman in the office was more interested in her private phone calls than helping my wife get the trailer hooked up. Took no responsibility, and had no knowledge on hooking up the trailer. Was combative with my wife saying that it was not her job. Worst experience I have had in the many U-Haul rentals that I have had. Debris in the trailer when I picked it up.Michael N.

The address was not well marked at all. Was based in a house, but we had no way of know that before hand. Uhaul sign was across the street from the house on a storage facility, that you cannot access on Sunday (when we were trying to return). We had to back out onto the highway after trying to return in wrong location - much better signage is needed and maybe a message on the answering machine with drop off instructions for after hours.LONA K.

I'm not really going to rate the location..... It was my service/experience with uhaul. Just to let you know I'll probably never use uhaul again. There are other moving companies that I'm sure would appreciate my business. First of all uhaul never confirmed my desired location. Based on my zip code I was given 3 choices. I picked the location that I dealt with in the past with no issues. The day before I find out that I have to go 40 miles round trip to pick up my trailer. I didn't have time to make any changes in that I was doing a round trip 1600 mile in two days. When I went to pick up the trailer I had to do everything myself... The agent showed me where the trailer was parked and I had to do everything else myself. No assistance hooking up the trailer. No inspection to make sure everything was o.k. I'm amazed that uhaul would assume so much liability.... Due to the overall booking and pickup experience I have determined I would be better off booking with a company and agent that values customer service... like Penske or Ryder.DAVID M.
