Time consuming & not clean truck
Salman MI will pay double if I need to, to use a competitor of yours going forward. Terrible service, terrible vehicles, terrible processes, the type of company that doesn't deserve to exist.

Farhan kI used the app and my credit card was charged almost double, 153 dollars, for a 15 foot truck used for six hours and about 30 km of driving. I picked and dropped off the truck at Mavis and Dundas Mississauga location. I called customer service at 905-790-6916 at 7:14 PM on Nov 14. After about 10 minutes a representative answered, she took my order number, then put me on hold to check the system. I waited twenty minutes and she never came back. I eventually had to hang up. The service was terrible. The app charges whatever it wants and you have no real way to fix the issue. I would not recommend using their app, go in person if possible or use another company.
FARID AI had to wait half an hour in line to pick up the truck. The truck ran well, but obviously hadn't been properly cleaned. There was a crack pipe on the floor beside the passenger seat. This location closes early and it was not at all obvious where to drop off the key.
JOHN DI am a regular customer for at least the last 5?years. We rent these 15 footers for our church to haul stuffs needed for our Retreats, at least twice a year...Thanks U-Haul for always being there!- Jose

It was definitely very busy and service could have been faster; so there wasn't enough people working so this person could take a break and eat lunch.

Loi TWhen I walked in to the location to ask for the truck, the man on the reception told me that there is no truck available. I went outside and call other location for the truck. The other location person said that they don't have truck but reserve one in the location where I was standing. The other location person booked me in a minute and asked me that I can pick up immediately. I was surprised that how come the receptionist told me that there is no truck available but the person from other location booked me from the same location in a minute where I was refused. Still don't understand this type of treatment and business. I came back in 5 minutes to the same receptionist and showed him the reservation and there was a truck. It was strange. Very strange.
Yousaf SI always have issues, this day the office opened 20 minutes late which delayed me. Sometimes the gas is wrong and I need to go inside to have it corrected which there is a long line and it goes slow.

LOREN TPick up was not a problem, but drop of staff was very rude and did not want to give me final invoice, truck brakes were very bad , I told him upon drop and he said it is not his problem i have to bring it to the head office re brakes. I booked 10 ft truck and they gave me 15 ft because 10 ft had a very low air in the one of the passenger side tire upon my inspection... i asked for 10 ft truck but she said we dont have it but i saw 2 parked .. therefore i had no choice but to take the 15 ft more gas guzzler. I should be given $50 credit as I did not get the 10 ft truck which I booked and wanted. please look into the maintenance for example tires air, brakes, oil level etc. this is safety risk issue

Rajat MWhen I arrived at my pick-up location, I saw the truck, but unfortunately, the previous renter hadn't closed out their route, so I couldn’t access it. Even the private shop owner couldn’t assist, but the U-Haul call center representative was incredibly quick and helpful. She arranged another truck at a different location, reserved it for me, and even made sure the cost of transportation was covered. Outstanding service—huge thanks to the U-Haul team!
kiranprasad ROnly one staff working at the counter make us wait for 35 mins besides having online check in done already. Only one lady is responsible for in person bookings, attending phone calls from enquirers and assisting reserved bookings. Otherwise, we get great help in the parking lot. That staff was quite helpful. Just need to hire more people for counter, atleast during busy days like 31st or 1st of the month

Patrick WThrough the app I started registration process and I was not able to find the key for assigned truck. After 1 hour waiting in queue for employee assistance finally the Uhail representative given me one other truck. After completing my move and bringing back the truck I was struggling to complete drop off through the app.
Ahmad BFirst off I got this truck and drove to my storage, pulled out the ramp to find it filled with grease( I have pictures and videos) my son busted his ass. I called the local number 18 times ( no answer) I then called the customer service who advised me to bring the truck to a car wash ( SMFH) I had to buy 2 bottles of degreaser and pour it down the ramp to walk safely. The truck it self feels like it has a transmission issue and stall to 70 on the highway, barely moving then suddenly jolts in high speed. Driver’s door requires the strength of (the rock )to close it. Complete piece of shit. Then returning the truck they expect me to park it in the back( wayyyy back) and walk back to the office to complete return. AVOID THIS PLACE. Your sanity depends on it

Wilmar IThe Truck was externally dirty the main cabin had dirty water bottle ( I had to clean up myself), the truck area was full of beer bottle cap and leftover from previous driver, the fuel tank was not full, the mirror not adjusted and adjusting was difficult, the front weather pads was coming out. I had no other option and was running out of time , if you guys need I have picture taken
Sulabh AFront desk lady was rude and not very responsive to the questions. Looks like she doesnot want to work there and seems frustrated all the time. I had to wait for 20mins for her to come to the front desk, and the u haul truck was full of dust, and was in very poor condition, so. All the parts were lose. Could be better maintained.

AMAN PI went to pickup my truck and the clerk had no record of my reservation. We eventually determined that my reservation was canceled 2 weeks earlier and they didn't have any trucks available. 2 hours before we got a truck elsewhere. Just a horrible experience.

Chelsea MEverything is smoothly _fast & convenient. However, the only issue was that the payment details were not entirely clear on the printed invoice. For example, I estimated my trip would be about 40km but I ended up driving 15km more. the extra distance should have cost about $18 with HST, but due to the way it's estimated, I ended up paying over $54. Tip: before renting, double-check your actual driving distance to avoid surprise charges (I understand that reminding me when I rent a car is not part of their responsibilities ) Lesson learned _ Grateful for the experience!

Micheal SI returned the truck at 9:30PM and put the key in the drop box outside of the store as instructed. Next day the invoice charged me for a lost key with a $100 fee. I called the store and they gave me a number to call to rectify the invoice. Called customer service and waited half hour and gave up. Called again in the afternoon and they said that it would take 3-5 business days to rectify. Not happy with this process. Shouldn't take this long to fix this problem.
EMMANUELD OEverything needs to improve, I was very disappointed ,I was double charged for fuel, I fill the tank to over the amount I recieved, yet I was charge again on my credit card. I would never used this franchise or recommend anyone ever again.

Philip MI reserved my truck one month in advance, including a dolly, but unfortunately, neither the truck nor the dolly was available upon my arrival. After waiting for 30 minutes, an agent called me and gave me only two options: Drive 20 minutes to another location — which would have caused me to miss my elevator appointment for the move. Wait several more hours and then drive 10 minutes to yet another location. which also would have caused me to miss my elevator appointment for the move. I had no choice but to accept a smaller truck, which resulted in higher costs in both time and money due to multiple trips and a penalty for exceeding the reserved elevator time — not to mention the extra physical effort caused by not having a dolly. To make matters worse, I did not receive any compensation, not even a free insurance upgrade. I kindly request that you review this situation and consider a form of compensation for the inconvenience and additional costs I incurred.
JUAN PCharge me alot for the gas i drove it only 25km i got charged 65$ took me lots of time to get the key and returning also and i did get the furniture dolly but i got charged for it

ALEX RIt took just over 60 minutes standing in line until I was able to check in for the truck. I had a 9:30 reservation and got there at 9:20 and was not served until after 10:30am. The location I had scheduled an item to be picked up with the U-Haul was supposed to be 10am so I was an hour late for that due to waiting at the U-Haul. Then when I came to return the truck, I had to wait 15+ mins to hand in the key. I've rented from other U-Haul locations and never had such slow service. I'll be using another location next time, unfortunately.
