charles jOverall it was mixed experience. The person at counter was polite and helpful. When I took the truck, the truck was dirty from inside and I have photos. Since we waited half an hour to just get the truck and we planned our move accordingly, I did not have option to reach out to counter for the same. While driving the truck, I found the driver side of wiper not working and also not cleaning the entire driver’s view. That led to very risky driving for me. Again, I have video and since our move was time sensitive, could not reach out to roadside assistance. Lastly, when I returned the truck and parked it where the person working at counter told me to return, I was not able to initiate return steps. Luckily I have used uhaul before and I figured something was wrong, but that led to waste of half an hour for me. The area where the location made me park was well outside the range where uhaul recognizes the truck returns. Due to these many issues, I found it difficult to rent uhaul this time.
JAY Measy access to pick up the unit and it was perfectly maintained the truck.
Oscar CI was charged a $25 cleaning fee and the vehicle front mats were dirty, coffee stains and dirt in cup holders, steering wheel sticky. I disagree with cleaning fee unless it really needs one. Previous owner of truck should have been charged for a dirty truck and not charge the renter after.
