I forgot to fill up and I was at this convenience store with gas pumps and the clerk could have pointed this out but instead they charged me 50.00 for a quarter of a tank of gas. This is despicable behavioramy M.

Ultimately I got a call later in the evening requesting credit card information who knew I rented a uhaul, location and wanted my credit card number claiming it was used for another renter. When I replied I would go to location next day, asked callers name who gave it to me. I went to the rental and never heard of the person.darren B.
I reserved a 26-foot truck, one appliance dolly, a regular dolly and some blankets. There wasn't a 26-foot truck available when I arrived at my scheduled time so I had to take a 20-foot truck. They also didn't have an appliance dolly. This ruined my move since I had to make an additional trip between houses and also had to rent an appliance dolly from a separate store. The people working at this location were great. But it doesn't change the fact that the 2 most important things I attempted to rent through U-Haul (26-foot truck and appliance dolly) were unavailable.Todd S.
They didn't have my furniture pads that I ordered and the guy at the counter was really rude. I waited in line after I did the mobile check in to get the keys and he told me I had to wait until he finished with the other customers. After I finally got my keys I went and saw they didn't give me the furniture pads I ordered and waited in line again then he tells me he doesn't have a dozen only 4. I said well I need them and I will just take what he has. He said I have to wait until he took care of the rest of the customers. I waited but more people got inline so I eventually told him I have to go and said to just take the pads off my order. Not sure he actually did though. I got there at 6:50 am for my 7 am pickup and didn't get to pull out with the Uhaul until 7:48 am. With all the stuff going on that day it was unacceptable how hard it was to get the uhaul.Marcel P.

Single attendant at the convenience store was unprepared for the rental. The U-Haul computer system was not working when I arrived and the attendant said that he could not complete the rental. When I pushed the issue he finally made a phone call and received permission to complete the process. I was told to go ahead and hook up the trailer. No assistance was offered by the attendant, and he never acme out from behind his counter to check the trailer, connections, lights, etc.Jeff F.

Customer service was very poor. When I got home, I discovered all chains for holding down the vehicle to the transport were missing. Called to fix problem and was told that it was my problem: call customer service. I asked for a phone number and was hung up on. Would not answer after that. Improvement for next customer? Do not send customers there. Fortunately another uhaul center was able to help and they were very friendly. Wish I had gone there first. Highly recommend them. First of all, my â€œguaranteed â€œ reservation wasn't available. The location uhaul corporate told me to go to was terrible. They had 2 trucks-one had â€œbad brakesâ€ and the other was â€œreserved for in-town onlyâ€. I was told by the gas station clerk â€œ he could not help me, go somewhere else.â€ Second, the truck that I finally did get had a bad wheel hub, the ABS sensor was on and dinged constantly, the suspension was shot, just to name a few issues. Oh, and by the way, I was never given any paperwork. The clerk asked for payment, charged my card, and said my printer is broke, here's the keys. Third, the customer service at corporate was terrible. I was hold multiple times with them, each time never below a 25 minute wait time. Absolute terrible experience!Kori H.

They didn't seem to have a clue as to what they were doing, especially upon return of the trailer. I still don't know if I am going to be double charged or not for this rental. I see 2 pending charges (differing amounts) for this rental on my credit card.John V.

My initial reservation was with the RiteWay located at 2222 Hightower Rd, Ball Ground, GA 30107. The location was not aware of my reservation nor were they staffed to print the contract or assist in attaching the trailer. The 1 employee on site called someone to get them out of bed and they would be there in 5 minutes. I waited in my truck only to be notified that someone would print the contract but no mention of assistance with hooking up the trailer. The RiteWay location is not staffed to rent U-Haul equipment and should be removed as an option.Gerald M.

Something is wrong with the truck. Could not hold it on the road it pulled from side to side. When I picked up the truck they claimed the truck was full of gas, it was completely empty. Barely made it to a gas station. I filled the truck up $90.00 gas and returned the truck with half a tank of gas. It took longer to get my stuff moved had to rent for an extra day.Karen W.

This was not were I made my reservation for a reason. It was moved to this location and I found out the day before when it was really too late to get one somewhere else. Got there and they were unprofessional. They did not even have a printer and had me come around behind the counter and take a picture of the computer screen as a receipt. When I returned the truck, they couldn't check me out then and said they would charge my card and send me a receipt. I might has well just been putting my keys in an overnight drop box. I was not comfortable with the handling of the transaction and not knowing what was gonna be charged to the credit card. Very poor service overall.Phillip K.

Apparently the store manager does not consider U-Haul renters actual customers. As he was assisting me a store customer came in and he stopped what he was doing to assist them. At one point there were 5 people who walked into the store and he stopped helping me to assist them.He advised me that customers came first, when I asked him if he was getting paid by u-haul,he stated "no." Guy behind counter didn't know how to charge for car dolly had to call someone who told him to write down my info and my CC info and he would take care of it later. Not happy about my credit card info just written down on a sheet of paper for anyone to find. Also tail light was out on trailer.steven T.
The did not give me a receipt for return of the unit. this concerned me so I called the folks where I picked it up from. He said all would be OK since I called them and there is a record of my return that way. Patel at the return location didn't seem to have any clue about what to do. The owners were extremely rude when the truck was not ready at the agreed pick up time. When the truck was ready 4 hours later...they were rude again and did not do anything to review the contract...gas fill up....condition of the truck etc--just stayed inside the convenience store. One person running the gas station was also trying to manage the UHaul. I waited forever to rent the vehicle, and then forever to return it. The Uhaul had cans, paper, and other trash in the cab. The back of the uhaul was fine, with blankets neatly folded. It was also difficult to communicate with the person I returned the vehicle to. He did not understand english very well. Also, the vehicle had just under 3/4 of a tank when I received it. I used under 1/8 of a tank and did not fill it up prior to return. I was charged the full rate to fill the vehicle back to full. There was no paperwork when returning the vehicle. The person I returned to was flustered trying to manage customers purchasing fuel and gas station items, and simply told me to leave that since I paid via CC everything would be simply charged to the card.RONALD B.
Truck cab was full of garbage. Pads just thrown all over floor in bed. Truck not swept full of last users broken glass and parts. Full of dirt also. Equipment was very old, hard to start and had a very loose front end. Back tire had huge gouge that I thought tire would blow out any minute. Overall very disappointed.James Q.

The truck was absolutely disgusting. When I got to the gas station to pick it up, the attendant informed me that "the system was down" and I would have to do everything over the phone. This was incredibly uncomfortable for me, because the person over the phone did not identify himself and began to ask me questions like my credit card number and other personal information. I informed them that I gave the information online with my initial reservation and that I did not feel comfortable giving it over the phone in the middle of a gas station with customers walking in, to a guy I didn't know. I was told the truck had three quarters a tank of gas, only to get in and it have only a quarter. When I started the truck, the check engine light was on and the truck was really dirty. when I returned the truck , the gas station attendant did not go out to the truck with me and do a walk around, nor did he check the mileage. He simply asked me what it was and whether I put gas in it or not. I also think the gas gauge was broken, as I only drove the truck 40.9 miles with barely any load or no load at all, and the gauge did not change after putting 9 gallons in the tank. Needless to say, this experience with U Haul was not a good one. If it were my company, I would not want to be represented the way Mobil Quick Stop represented U Haul on Sunday. I will be considering different truck rental services next time I need to move or haul something.Christopher B.
