Wonderful customer service! I reserved a 20’ truck a week in advance and had zero issues with availability. The truck was clean and well maintained and was a staple in moving to another community. Thanks!

Location looks a bit rough (gravel parking lot) but very convenient.

Steve CApp stated open till 5 but that was incorrect. Closed at 3. I drove half hour to another location (1728 Seminole Trl, Charlottesville, VA 22901) which the app said was open till 5. While they were open they do not accept trailers here, the app said they did. So I had to drive back down here to do self drop off which I wanted to avoid. Wasted a lot of time driving from here to up town to only come back down here. Update hours of operation on app (close at 3 not 5) and update app to say no trailer drop off at other location. So the rental places were fine the app and info it provides was terrible. Not overly satisfied with U-Haul overall.

Sabina GThe trailer hitch cosy more than it is on the website for no reason. They don't seem to have insurance for it they damage your vehicle.
Jessica MCheck engine light was on and the tire pressure sensors. We were told by the desk agent that at the cost of $80 per sensor that U-Haul doesn’t pay to replace. Overall the unit was clean and the desk agent helpful and kind. Very smooth transaction and easy to work with.

Donna GMy first "Guaranteed" reservation was given away to a walk in customer. So, UHAUL wanted me to drive an hour away to another location for my pickup. Instead, I rescheduled to the following week at the original location. On the day of the second pickup, the truck I wanted wasn't there, so I was given a larger truck. The clerk handed me the key and said the truck was somewhere out in the yard and that if I walked around looking I would eventually find it. I was surprised they didn't inspect it with me before I drove away. I had also reserved a dolly to move my furniture, but they had given all of those away as well. So, I had to make a stop at the local hardware store to buy a dolly. What's the point of making a guaranteed reservation if they don't hold on to the equipment? The staff at this UHAUL location obviously didn't care about me or my move and they had no problem telling me that there was nothing they could do. When I asked for suggestions of help, they told me there was nothing they could do. I'll be picking another truck rental company next time.
Otis DThe trailer that was provided was not the trailer that I had reserved. Ended up being a problem on the road. Had a huge negative effect on my gas mileage. And I felt like it was not as safe as what I had signed up for.

Victoria HThe trailer was missing the right tailgate latch-pin. Not a big deal for me because I was only hauling yard waste to a nearby landfill, but could be a risk for someone moving heavier loads. I noted the missing pin at check-in and am sure it will be replaced. Moose's by the Creek is a great locations that I have used many times and will use again.
Sam HWell considering I was quoted ~$1000 for the trip and then was charged $1400 I am not happy nor will I ever use U-Haul every again. A 40% increase is unacceptable. Penske for the rest of my life when I move.
