Steve AIt’s for a long distance use and I got the truck with only 1/4 of the tank full, it’s extremely inconvenient having to go to a gas station before I can get the movers to load the truck. The cabin was dirty, with used gloves left on the floor. The lady at the checkin was aggressive and quite condescending. I booked at another better rated location but got sent here due to U-Haul shortage of 15’ trucks, not happy!
Yung PStore was a disaster, our truck never showed up that morning and she did not call us until 50 mins prior to our orginal pick up time. 4pm. She really did not seem to care or apologize for the truck not arriving and laughed on the phone. We will absolutely never rent from this location again.

Charlene H- I booked at another location. - 20 foot U-Haul - Was told I can keep it till July 31 - UHaul called next day and said I had to have it back by July 26 - I explained I can’t do that as it doesn’t leave to Edmonton until July 26 and I wouldn’t have booked it knowing this - They switched my UHaul to a 15’ and did not inform me and also switched location pick up - complete shit show - U-Haul switched me to a 15’ without my consent and it fucked everything up - if I wanted a 15’ U-Haul I would have rented it in the first place - I now have another 20’ vehicle rented from Driving Force on Tues Aug 6 to head back to Edmonton to take rest of material up - so now I have to pay for to Trucks because U-Haul decided to fuck me over - call me. Don’t call me. I don’t care. Terrible experience. - I’ll leave google review once everything is finalized - I’ll return blankets on Tuesday Aug 6

Lorenzo HFirst the booking was messed up, then times changed and location pick up. I got a call the day before to advise. Truck had engine light on along with two other sensors, drove like a tank. The lady for pick up was ok, kept saying truck is fine.
cheryl mThe state of the inside of the location was terrible. The store had a foul odor and the staff could barely speak English which made the process slow down.

She did not refund the deposit to our card but gave it back as cash claiming that she did not know how to. I definitelt do not recommend this u-haul dealer.

Liora BThis was the worse rental we have had with Uhaul. First off, we rented a Uhaul in Okotoks Alberta as per your website and when we got the confirmation we had to rent from Calgary. Why is Okotoks an option of there are no trucks in Okotoks. We arrive onsite to pick up truck, we can't do mobile checkin for some reason and the store is closed. We wasted 45 minutes until the store opened and the lady finally helped us. We called Uhaul and that person could not help us. By the time we left the site 1 hour had past on our rental, so we lost 1 hour of time as the truck was booked after us. This was a complete mess up on Uhaul's part. We would appreciate some kind of compensation for our rental.
Todd BThe phone app is confusing and asks for weird stuff I didn't have on hand like a copy of my lease agreement or my passport. Luckily there was someone at the store that was able to help me really quickly, and then things went great!

timithy fThe location failed to communicate how and when to bring back the truck, the amount of km’s needed/cost thereof. The lady was very nice but there were a few concerns like the lights on the dashboard that stayed on throughout the whole trip. The lady did explain the tire pressure light but not the rest. The service is helpful, I find it a tad bit expensive since I have put gas in myself as well afterwards. Overal 6/10

JARADO MWhen we first rented online the location we selected and booked, we received a call telling us that this location was closed but you can get it at a different location 3 hours later than we booked with no apology or consideration of how that would impact our use of it. We went back online and located one we could still get for the time we needed. When we picked up the unit, the dealer was very nice and accommodating to us. He asked what we were using it for and when he found out we were moving a mattress he ran back inside to get a broom and sweep the unit out, very appreciated but we would have thought that it would have already been cleaned before our arrival. When we started to drive the truck there was less than 1/4 tank of gas so we had to stop right away to get some gas BEFORE a we had even used it, any rental we have ever had normally came with a full tank and we would just top it off upon return. We took it to a gas station, pumped some gas into it and when we got back in it to start driving again it had an issue with turning over because the battery was weak. Each time we had to stop and turn it off and then restart it the battery had a hard time starting and when we had to top up the gas again before we dropped it off it took a while for it to catch and start. When we dropped it off we let them know that the battery was weak so that it wouldn’t happen to the next renters and THEY KNEW it wasn’t working right BEFORE awe picked it up, not appreciated at all. So we ended up paying for a full day rental but had to bring it back after using it for only 3 hours as we were afraid it wouldn’t start again but again PAID for a full day. Not sure why there wasn’t a reduced rate for a quick rental as it was now available to be rented again for a full day. So while it worked to move what we needed to, the overall experience was not what it should have been.

Bradford DA bit tight to get in and out off. It is exactly as advertised - U-Haul parking is the parking area in front of the corner convenience store in a residential area. Some questions are not applicable as I did self checkout However your program will not let me enter not applicable so I answered yes though I never went inside the store or talked to anyone.
Paul HI called ahead to advise I would be dropping off and the staff seemed almost annoyed that I was choosing their location to drop off. They asked about the size of vehicle I was dropping off (10 foot) because they didn't want anything big. When I arrived, they processed the drop off and said it was all done. When I asked for a receipt, I was told rudely that it was already sent to my email. Would not recommend this location.

Sorin Swhen I picked up the trailer it was dirty and in order to use it I had to go to a car wash and wash it! Also, the license plate light on the trailer did not work. Due to the lack of license plate illumination, the policeman who stopped me in the dark informed me and recommended that I continue to drive only in the daytime or remove the fault myself.
igor bIndicate on the site what size trailer hitch is needed for the trailer rental as well as the what type of electrical plug in the trailers are equipped with. Had to by a $20 adapter, that I already had in my garage and could have brought with me. The service at this location was outstanding, so friendly and helpful very nice people.

Mykyta CWell i had rented the trailer on a Sat and was going to return it Sunday and with the location being closed Sundays was told i basically could return the trailer by Monday and id only be charged for one day which was great! However, i told the lady that after my 1st load was done the same day that id be dropping off the trailer briefly as we had nowhere else to park because we would be swapping trucks for my 2nd load as my 1st friend was only available for one load! I returned to get the trailer with the other truck and the lock was put on so i could not access the trailer and the closing paperwork had already been put through to my email! This caused me to have to make several extra trips with my friends vehicle instead of one and we did not finish the move till 230 A.m. as with the trailer would have been done at 10 p.m.
Stephan NMy experience with U-Haul, specifically with an employee named Joanna Hang, was not just disappointing but downright appalling. When I arrived to pick up a truck I had reserved, and when I double-checked whether my payment had been processed as I had provided my credit card details by phone, I was met with hostility. Joanna Hang responded by yelling a blunt "Noooo, you didn't pay" at me. This level of rudeness and unprofessionalism is unacceptable. As someone who has been a respectful resident of Canada for nearly seven years, I was embarrassed, especially in front of a guest new to the country. It was an utterly disrespectful encounter that tarnished the reputation of U-Haul for me. I urge potential customers to consider this experience when choosing a rental service, as the treatment I received was unacceptable and indicative of a severe lack of customer service skills.
Edhar KWas a bit challenging to negotiate the narrow laneway to hook up and drop off given the ice on the road otherwise sales rep was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this location.

Peter KTire tread was extremely low for a 1000km trip. A trim piece covering the wires in the wheel well came flying off 10 mins after picking up the trailer. Luckily the bolt that went flying didn’t break anyone’s windshield in the highway. Not impressed whatsoever

Also, two wheel dolly that was ordered was not there, why? And I think you charged for it.. I would really like to see that credit please. Really not impressed with the app!
Bruce CWith my last 2 rentals, both times the folks doing the check-in were friendly but just at the most odd location. One was in the middle of nowhere and needed to drive a LOT of extra kilometers to pick up and drop off the truck. The second is in the middle of a dense residential area also needing to drive extra kilometers to pick up and drop off the truck plus getting stuck in that residential area traffic. Being close to a major roadway is kinda of a must.
