MICHAEL DRemote / mobile check in was ridiculous. Check in took about 35 minutes including a call to customer support. Each picture on the app took 2-5 minutes to upload. Once all photos were uploaded app wouldn’t let me proceed from next window. The worse app I’ve ever used. Return was just as slow and bad. Also had to call customer support. Will never use u haul remote check in again. Horrible product and service.

MICHAEL RIf you could please update the lock box combination video to a lock that your business is using. I got the keys about 45 minutes After my pick up time. Also if it’s winter please provide a snow windshield scrapper. I didn’t leave until 9:00 something am trying to heat off the ice on windshield. I couldn’t really do it with my hands as I’m only 4”11 and couldn’t reach certain areas. Other than that GREAT EXPERIENCE! Thank you For example the lock I used was a 3 digit number combination while the video was a 4 word combination “SALT”. Which didn’t help so I had to contact customer service.

RONALD BSo I showed up to pick up my reserved van, and it was not their. The previous renter had not returned it at 9:00 AM, and claimed they had it until 9:00 PM. No from Uhaul had contacted me even though the issue was known from the day before. They sent me to a different sight about 15 min away, but was closed and I had to go through the app. Also, they had no vans, so I had to get a truck (I was given the same price, which was nice, but I didn't need a truck, and was less comfortable driving it). The app was not clear, and the support person from Uhaul wasn't able to help me with the issue. At this point, it's an hour passed when I should have had my van. I get transferred to another help number, and I am put on a 30 min hold. My son is with me, and originally he was going to help me with part of the trip, but now he had to leave for work, so I had to bring him home. So I finally figure out the app on my own (horrible UX by the way; I am a software QA tester, and not good). I go back to the place and pick up the truck. So, by the time everything is done, I have the truck 2 hours late and I had to carry a mattress an box spring down stairs on my own. While they did get me in a vehicle, the communication, tech support, and general experience was not really acceptable.

Steve LMotuza automotive couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating to us despite having to Uber 40+ miles there from Boston. There was extra traffic due to an accident and a gentleman from the automotive side helped us pick up our truck during U-Hauls lunch hour.
