The online rental is a complete mess! I will not use this again! Uhaul charged me double because the web site did not process my check in time correctly. When I spoke to customer service, they stated that I did check in before my time was up, but for some reason it was not processed. I have spoke to customer service several times and its 3 days later and still no refund

Manager gave me wrong information, saying if I returned the 15 foot truck one day early I would get a refund on a two day rental. Please inform the location of this problem. I rented the truck for August 14 but wanted to return on Saturday August 15 but the rental agreement had to be two days. I was not told this in advance and was disappointed in this situation.

This experience was worse than my previous UHaul experiences. I received a call saying the truck was unavailable and pickup would need to be at another location. That location was closed and the truck was not staged for mobile pickup, as I was assured it would be. Customer service was excellent at handling this issue and finding me another truck. That truck was about 58 miles away. Luckily I had family close that could grab it. The truck was excellent And my move was boring and busy, as they should be. U-Haul did recognize the errors and adjusted my bill and mileage to compensate me for my inconvenience. Everyone I spoke with was kind courteous helpful and when applicable apologetic.

Computers were down. Rep charged us $300 more than what we were quoted and told us "that's just the tax" which was WRONG! He charged us for 13 more days than we requested. We only wanted the truck until June 17th and he reserved it until June 30th. Now getting our credit back is next to impossible. Will NEVER use U-Haul again. I'm still on the phone and it's been 30 minutes. Now I'm being told we have a credit, but your system does not list how much nor can the rep tell me how we are going to get said credit!!!! Ridiculous.

When we delivered the truck back to the place, we delivered it several hours before the time limit (12:30 pm) but the doors were locked and noone was there. We put the key in the drop box. When we got the final report, they put 7pm as the time because that was when they checked the drop box! We ended up having to pay for an extra day of rental and insurance. I called the main office, they gave me the regional manager's number. I called and he said that he would take care of it and would call me back which he never did. I also called the rental place and they said that they couldn't do anything about it on the computer. I will continue to try to get this resolved.

I reserved my U-Haul on line which was very simple, but when I went pick it up even though I had great phone service the web site said it could not find my location so I spent a hour on the phone with customer service trying to get the key to the truck. Same issues when I went to return the truck I had to go on the web site to fill out the paperwork And could not do so. So at 1 o'clock in the morning I'm once again on the phone with customer service but this time they were very rude and wouldn't try to help and said that if I couldn't go online to fill out the paperwork then they would charge me a 20.00 fee for failing to fill it out. My recommendation if you have to order U-Haul on line make sure the web site properly works at the pick up and drop off locations and don't try to charge fees for the web site poor service.

I reserved the truck the night before, the next morning when I got there to pick up the truck, I was told it was reserved for someone else. I leave and 15 minutes later got a call saying it was reserved for me and my card had already been charged. So I go back and pick up the truck, it had 22 more miles on it than indicated on my receipt and the computer, so had to get that straightened out before I could leave. Then I was billed for one way when I told the guy I would be bringing it back to that same location. Finally got the billing straightened out but thought it was a rip off. First I was charged .40 cents a mile, then it was changed to .99 cents a mile. So overall it was nothing but a hassle and I will never use any Uhaul again.
