I reserved a 26 foot truck. The day I got the truck, they only had a 20 foot one. And they changed pick up locations to a new town, which was highly inconvenient. Because of the smaller truck, I had to make 2 trips. This of course doubled my mileage at almost a dollar a mile. I also asked for a heavy dolly, and there was not one for me. The nice lady at the new location gave me a little one, but this created great difficulty. I feel like I paid double for the local move because of uhaul mistakes....

It was a fine experience. The truck sounds like it has power steering issues, and was clearly an older, worn vehicle with an aging battery. The accelerator was touchy which made backing up to align the ramp tough. The lot was dark which made backing it into the spot challenging. I really liked the online verification process for pickup and drop-off despite the app not being compatible with my Moto X phone.

The White Oak location was awesome. I found them after a horrible expirence I had at another location. Ameristay in Batavia Oh 45103 was the worst customer expirence I have ever had for anything. I went in the morning to rent a truck and was told " I'm too busy right now to help you come back at 4:00. Then he humiliated a new employee right in front of me, I later found out the employee quit on her first day because this guy was so brutally rude. THEY DO NOT DESERVE TO HAVE A UHAUL FRANCHISE. I had to rent 2 more trucks and drove 30 min out of my way to avoid this location.

Pam and Gene are always helpful and working with me and my work schedule so I can get the equipment I need when I need it.
