The truck wasn't ready by our pickup time of 9 am, and we got a call at 9 am to tell us this information. The previous customer was late returning it, and the clerk said to come back at 11 am and that the truck would be available. We came to the office at 11:15 am, and the truck still wasn't back, but no one called to tell us. Finally got the truck at 12 pm, but still had to pay for multiple movers just waiting for the truck. U-Haul called me ahead of time and asked me to move my reservation to this location since it's new and would give me a deal. I should have read the reviews before I said I would.

Customer service at the ultimate pick-up location was satisfactory. However, the overall U-Haul reservation experience was poor. I had reserved a 10' truck far in advance at a location much closer to my house, but a day or two before the move I was informed the nearest 10' truck was 20 miles away. This is a recurring theme, because the previous time I reserved a truck at U-Haul, I had to drive to a different location more than 20 miles away and the desired truck size wasn't even available there.
Dan BThis place was a dump with no helpful personnel. The tire shop does not do the uhaul business. There is simply a lot with a drop box. I had to call and ask for help, even using the app. Thankfully someone was quick to help me on the phone. There are better locations in Granite City to do Uhaul business.
Derrick KVehicles need to be cleaned,parking lot was dirty an had to dodge around oncoming cars while attempting to take pictures..also took over 20 minutes to go through the app to get the keys to begin the other 10 minute phone process..then time to do the whole process over again for return..so close to a hour out of my rental time was wasted

MARTI NThe rental location was very sketchy and not clean at all. The lady that was working the computer was rude and did not seem to know what she was doing. Truck was clean but had no available moving blankets and the dolly was just loose in the back of the truck to be thrown around while I drove.

Denise JThe people who worked at this location were friendly and helpful. The truck seemed like it has seen better days. There was also no windshield washer fluid which was dangerous. The windshield was splashed with melted snow and the wipers just smeared it with no wiper fluid to help clear it.
