After I got the truck, I could not see out the windshield. Since it was new to me, I got home with the truck and had to get a ladder to reach the front windshield to clean it. It would have been nice for U-Haul to have cleaned them. Everything else was perfectly FINE!

I called to get an explanation about a quote after my money was taken for a different amount and the guy was rude and even ran after my brother and told him I didn't want the truck anymore and that is not what I stated. So on top of being rude he lied on me. I will never use this location again. Learn about customer and how to talk to people. Now he wont answer my phones calls. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!

We went to the location where it was reserved and didn’t get a call until 15 minutes before time that the truck would be at a different location. The associate and service were great. No trouble with the truck, except that I should have gotten the larger size! 😁

angela aI rented a 6' X 12' trailer on Friday, 2/28/20. The owner of this former gas station was in and out of the office causing us to wait around there for an hour to rent a trailer and finally leave with it, and we had a 6 1/2 hr drive - and it was 4:30 PM!

montez pThis location saved me and was great! I thought that my moving weekend was going to be ruined at first. I reserved a 15 foot truck on July 15, 2019 to pick up in Jackson, MS. I was informed July 18, 2019 that my truck was unavailable in Jackson and I would have to pick it up in Sumrall, MS, which I had never heard of and later found out was two hours out of the way. I called that night and the agent told me she could do nothing and they “probably” could help me in the morning. I called first thing the next morning and she said she had nothing available in Jackson. She checked again and said that had a 26 ft, which was way to big. She checked again and said she had a 10ft in Canton. Even though it was not the 15ft I originally reserved at this point I had to take what I could get. What is the point of U-Haul taking reservations if they are not going to honor it!! At this point no one at U-Haul had apologized for this mix up at all and I really felt like this was not a priority or issue for anyone I spoke with at U-Haul. They were all border line rude. After this stressful, inconvenient incident I am not sure that I will ever use uHaul again. Like I said, thank God for the nice man in Canton!

Teambera WI was extremely frustrated that my rental was not available at the location that was reserved. I was forced to drive 1.5 hours round trip to pick up the trailer. I had no notice of this change and no efforts were made by the staff or manager to accommodate my schedule due to the unforeseen major delay. That said, Myers Car Care in Canton was excellent and provided great service. It was a pleasure to do business there.
Wes HRecommend another location. Also this location closed 15 minutes early on my pick up date. However due to awesome tenaciousness of the young lady whom helped me over the phone she was able to contact the owner or manager that allowed me pick up the trailer by myself. I tip my hat to her.

SHERRIE FThey gave 20 miles more than I turned it in with. I ALWAYS take photos upon turning in rentals so I knew my correct mileage! That makes me weary of Uhaul and if they try and cheat consumers in the end. I would not be comfortable dealing with that location.

Sharron JI was picking up the truck for a relative that was traveling in to do a DIY move. Her reservation she made on line provided her a total of 512, however I had to provide payment to pickup the truck with no other options to me the cost jumped to 612 not sure how. Second the interior mats was covered with dried mud and the interior truck had mud we had to clean the truck prior to loading because we knew we would be charged a cleaning fee if we turned it in the way we received it.

CHARLES BI booked online and called to pay for my one way rental over the phone and spoke to three different people who were unable to do this for me- contacted customer service, who transferred me to reservations, who transferred me to the regional office- the lady I spoke to was very nice, and stated the credit card was on file and I wouldn't need to present it at pick up. Wonderful! So my driver (doesn't have a credit card) goes to pick up the U-Haul and what a shocker--my credit card wasn't saved on file. I book U-Haul's almost every week all over the US and its always been this level of inconsistency! Very frustrating.
Brandon TThis location was great. The issues I had with this rental started with the location at Beasley Rd in jackson Mississippi. I asked for a 17' for one day reserved it 1 week in advance and when it came time to pick up i was told it had to be back after 16 hours so I had to go to a new location and get it a day later so I could use it for the time I needed. Because of this issue I had to adjust all of my moving plans.
Jason RU-haul needs to find a better way of giving its customers their contract rather than through email, the contracts do not download, showing "Cannot Generate Preview"..I've attempted the email 3 times and still do not have a copy of my U-haul contract. I have asked that one be sent via US Mail
JEFF MI reserved a 10ft truck at the Ridgeland location. The truck was at the Canton location. It was not 10ft it was 17ft. This cause more expense in gas and additional bracing etc. Not happy at all.
Robert dThe back of the uhaul was filthy matresses were ruined from the dirt and dust. My family had to sweep and clean just to get the rest of our furniture on the truck.The brakes were horrible we had to drive under 50 miles per hour to get to location. Every year I move because of my job, never again will I rent from Uhaul
Lekisha bThe blankets were not folded. Also, when allowing reservations to be made, you all should include extra mileage for traveling to and from the location for pick-up/drop off. This location was 40 miles from where I was moving from. My allotted mileage did not include transporting the truck from the pick-up location to the apartment, resulting in extra fees, because I was not assigned a convenient location. Also, there should be a link between your vendors and your reservation system, so that when I choose a location, I am notified whether or not they have the equipment available to suit my needs. If they don't then I should be able to select a location that does, not be assigned one that is an hour away.
