When I brought the truck back at 3:45 I pulled it to the back as instructed earlier. I had to put in a code to get the gate open. I pulled the truck to the back and then when I walked back to the front wasn't able to get out of the yard. There is no where to put in the code when you are inside the yard. If my wife hadn't been there for me to tell the code to, I don't know what I would have done. When I went to the door to return the key the door was locked and no one answered my knock.Thomas B.

Arrived there at 10:00 am on a Tuesday, door was locked and could not find any employees. Then there was no place to park the truck and no signs or instructions on where to park it.JEFFREY R.
Absolute worst experience I have ever had with a truck rental agent. As a professional mover with 40 Years experience I have never encountered a more apathetic and unapologetically slow Moving and loathsome desk clerk. She opened her shop nearly 60 minutes late (10:30 am vs the 9:30 as posted on the door). She charged for things that were not approved at my time of online purchase and was absolutely not concerned with the fact that I had to call my customer 3 times to explain why I was late and could not procure a previously reserved truck until 10:30 am. She had no interest in the fact that I was paying my helper his hourly rate to sit with me and wait for this habitually late opening store. A maintenance man from the building informed me and several other customers, who were also delayed that â€œthe lady in a silver car is always late in opening but should be in soon.â€ Meanwhile we were all looking up and calling numbers to no avail attempting to get this store opened and our trucks! I actually drive away and unsuccessfully sought out an alternative rental only to succumb to the realization that this was the only truck I could get , when I finally got it. I will NEVER rent from this location and possibly UHaul ever again based on what I experienced and dealt with.COLIN D.
I called to confirm the truck was there and ready to go and what I needed to do next. I told the key was in the lockbox in the back of the truck and ready to go. I explained we were at a hotel and would we be a belt o pick up the truck at 9 or 10 am and I was told it would be no problem! I could get it any time because I was the only one with the reservation and she personally took care of everything. I said I was unfamiliar with the self serve Iphone pick up thing and she said all o had to do was have my iPhone with me and near the truck and my drivers license for ID verification and that's was it. I had made the reservation on the main U-Haul website with an agent who said this was the closest guarantee location for a 10â€ truck and she automatically set it up for this self service thing. She never said anything more. No one ever said I needed to down load an app or be there at the time she set for 8 am or it was reset things and. I'd have to start all over, no one explained this app process at all! It did not explain this in any of my emails either. I had my two adult daughter, both well educated and tech savvy and they became fristrated and all three of us were trying to get through to the self storage location and U-Haul to get help! The storage place never returned out calls despite saying they respond 7 days a week. After three attempts talking with a U-Haul person they guided them through but we still couldn't in any gate and the girls walked through a side gate to back of the building to find the right truck with the U-Haul person on the line. The truck was unlocked and no lock box, dirty truck and all this put us nearly two hours behind schedule to get pack and back to PA! I should have just rent though the U-Haul store there locally and dealt with human beings! Never again will I trust a U-Haul agent booking me online to do this app self serve thing!karen S.

First off there's absolutely nothing on the website saying anything about having to download the mobile app to be able to do the remote pickup option. It only says â€œgo to U-Haul.comâ€ which cost me an entire hour to figure out. Second, I was done with the truck around midnight. Went to drop it off but there's a gate you need a code for to actually drop it off and I went through the process of the drop off and paid and was never given the gate code. So I called U-Haul and waited another hour to even talk to someone who finally was able to give me the gate code. Nothing wrong with this facility specifically but U-Haul itself really did it to me this time I will for sure avoid ever trying to use them in the future.Zach S.

Truck was dirty and only had 1/4 tank of gas.. Process of renting slow and the representative not listening charging me for insurance I did not want and then telling me I'd have to contact U-Haul directly if I didn't want insurance after the fact to have them remove. Overall poor experience but judging by the storage facility from which I was renting I shouldn't have been surprised.DAVID B.

The only complaint I have is the I ordered a dolly and was charged for one but it was not on truck when picked it up . I didn't recover this until I got the truck to the house.KAREN P.
I get there at 9 to get my original rental. The passenger door was open and the battery was dead. Then had to wait 2 hours for a new truck to be given to me. The dude who helped jump the 1st truck was awesome he helped. But the waiting pushed my move back 2 hoursKevin V.

The dollies I reserved were not available. Was told manager would take them order. Ran into issues dropping off (at different location) because order showed them still rented and we obviously didn't have them to return. Wanted to charge us cost. Talked them out id it but it was a hassle we didn't need. FYI this is the second time we reserved a dolly that wasn't available when we picked up truck. Don't offer them online if you don't have enough. When moving heavy items we were counting on them. Had to make a run to Home Depot and rent from there.Kevin F.

WHY WAS THERE NOT A DROP OFF BOX FOR THE KEY? THAT WAS A BIG PAIN IN MY ASS. CIRCLED THE BUILDING FOR OVER A HALF HOUR LOOKING FOR ONE. CALLED ABOUT 10 TIMES, NO ANSWER. CALLED U-HAUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. NO HELP. PLEASE INSTALL A DROP BOX. THIS REALLY SUCKED.Sara M.
