This specific truck was very dirty in the cab with a cigarette lighter and food crumbs all over. We had to sweep out the back of the truck including cigarette butts and the tank was not at a quarter tank like I was told. It was far less than an 8th tank. I had to put gas before I could travel with it.TAMARA M.
Have a way to lift the 6x12 trailer on to the tow hitch. It took two people to get it raised on to the hitch. One person standing on the back to counter weight it and the other on the front to guide it on the hitch. On the return it took three people to un hitch it. Can you put a trailer Jack on these so one person can do it?Matthew A.

Uhaul changed the drop off location for my rental, to a place that was not open. There was no one there to help unhitch the trailer in 100 degree heat. I had to drive an extra hour. There should have been a phone call, not a random email, sent when a change is made to a contract!! In the middle of moving from one place to another this was a huge hassle.Paula H.

I didn't have a problem until I'm order was misunderstood and I had to make change at the last minute. I originally called the other location on Texas Ave and he made his own mistakes but got me over to the 2813 Texas Ave, College Station, TX 77840 location. When the gentleman called to confirm he wasn't very pleasant to talk with he didn't understand what I was asking for due to the fact I was asking for a 48 hr rental and was only getting a 4 hr rental. The only reason I would go back is because of Kristina Garcia. She helped us even when the store was closed. Her customer service was fantastic. Never rushed us or complained about the time. I have a local business and use Navasota Glass and U-haul frequently. I love the small town feel and the staff is amazing, courteous & always meets or exceeds every expectation. The availability and quality of the equipment they keep on-hand, tied with their customer service expertise is the sole reason I have not purchased my own equipment instead of renting.David D.

Access to location is confusing and difficult to approach. Entrance is on a highway access road that can be approached from one-way only. Entrance to U-Haul is quite a distance from the entrance to the access road. We knew exactly where the U-Haul place was, but didn't get there on the first pass.l Duane A.

Not happy for picking up unit drive it 48 miles and be charge for those miles, it was Uhaul priblem not to have available units close to where i needed instead i drove 24 miles to pick up and the 24 to deliver equipment and those miles were charged to me.Rolando C.
When we dropped off the Uhaul (after hours) there were no signs anywhere on where the drop box was to leave the keys and we spent a very long time looking for it. There were dogs around the place that kept following and barking at us, which made us nervous. When we called the number, the woman told us where the drop box was, but it was unmarked and there is no way we would've found it on our own. We left very frustrated.Shaina R.

I was charged an extra day for the truck without notice because I was given the option to pick up with my smart phone on the uhaul website. The truck was checked out to me the previous day in the system even though I did not schedule to pick it up until the following day. I paid for a full day of rental while it sat on the lot.Jason W.

We dropped this truck off after hours, so no idea about the people or office but the parking space was great and we were relieved to see a 24 hour drop slot for the keys. PLEASE update your records and do not send anyone else to West End Grocery in Navasota as they are not a Uhaul location any longer.Lee Ann B.

DON'T USE COLLEGE STATION...We booked our reservation at College Station for 730 am the next morning. Although we had an email confirmation, the morning that we were scheduled to pick up our cargo trailer we were notified by text that our booking was moved to Navasota at 12 pm. We needed to be in Houston by 10am. The team at Navasota were very nice and we would use them again. We discovered we were the 6th person to be moved to Navasota without being properly notified. The College Station location needs to get their business worked out... When I called to figure out what was going on, I was treated badly by the staff at College Station. When my daughter called to ask questions after making the reservation, she was also treated badly. The woman in the College Station office is extremely condescending and rude.Natasha W.

Overall it was not a good experience dropping off and picking up truck wise. I went to reserve a truck and then two days later I got a call that I have to drive to 20 miles to get the truck instead of 2 miles away where I reserved it. So I drove 20 miles to get the truck. Get packed up and then once I reached my destination, I received another call from a dealer that was 20 miles away again and wanted me to deliver there. I asked that I want a closer location I was not going to drive another 40 miles round trip. So the person never called back for a re location place. So I called.....and a lady found a location for me to go to. So this morning we went to the location and it did not accept 26ft trucks. Which was really frustrating after all the person should have known that big detail in that dealer. So then I had to drive another 15 miles to a different location. It was not a pleasant experience. Probably will not go with U - haul again maybe will look a different options. Just frustrated on the driving to locations so far away on the picking up and dropping off. Pretty ridiculous in my opinionZach B.

Owner was clearly not knowledgable about truck schedules. I reserved a truck online but the owner of this location said she didn't have any trucks and would have to check if one would be back in time. She later called back to inform me there would be a truck in plenty of time. I would assume the uhaul system had this covered. She also clearly did not check the truck condition as we found an inner rear tire was completely flat and had to be changed before we left town. This delayed our move by three hours that day and lost us the unloading help we had at our destination.Justin B.

Nothing against any of the locations it was the Uhaul call center and the whole initial rental experiences. It is one of the worst experiences of my life and I'm 50 years old. I'm glad my children witnessed it and I tried everything possible not use Uhaul once my morning went to hell trying to pick up the equipment. You have to get your call center and communication within up to par, horrible. I told my son who is in college, take this Uhaul experience and if you can improve what they are doing and make it better then that's your ticket because any good direct competition for Uhaul will run them out of business.brian kelly M.

When I made my online reservation - I received an anonymous email from the regional scheduler in Houston informing me that my reservation request for the Navasota location had been reset and I would be notified a few days ahead of my pickup date where it would be. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I have had problems with service and rental availability (even after making a reservation) at several other College Station locations. I use the Navasota one as it is were I ended up last time the closest center AGAIN failed to have the trailer I reserved. They are good folks there and they take care of their customers. Would rather drive an extra 15 minutes than have bad service. I cancelled the online reservation and called the Navasota location directly. They had me setup with a reservation in 5 minutes. They were ready for me at the agreed time and pickup took less than 15 minutes. I have spent over an hour trying to pick up a pre-reserved trailer before in College Station. PLEASE do not choose fleet efficiency over customer satisfaction.Paul F.
