I was denied my rental because my driver's license (which was issued in the state of Delaware) had only a 5 digit number. I can't help it that I have been driving in the small state of Delaware for forty years and they gave me a 5 digit number when I got my license. If you have an issue with 5 digit numbers, you should take it up with the state, not me. To solve this problem , my daughter with a long Maryland driver's license was added to the rental, but this was not a cost I should have to bear.

ALISTER TI had an appointment there at 1 pm but the guy there give me the wrong key at least 2 times and however I booked it online he has to call someone and register me again. Also I asked him for 15 dollars insurance and he made it 30$ also I don't know why they charged me additional 33$ more. So they took 33 and 15 more insurance and made me late 30 minutes.

ROBIN BMay want to provide instructions on where to park your vehicle when you take the truck. I specifically chose the mobile check-in assuming it would be easier. It was not! I received an email when I made my reservation to upload a copy of my license to help the process go faster. I then had to upload it again at check-in. I also had to provide an "alternate contact name and number" with no explanation of what it would be used for or why it was needed (then my husband got a call!). DO NOT use the mobile check-in! Simply go to the nice guy inside and check-in because that is what I had to do and he was able to get it all sorted out for me!

It was great that the location was also a gas station, as that made it easy to fuel the vehicle. A five-star experience. Highly recommend this location!

Angela JInside reeked of marijuana. Staff was uninterested in helping me check-in. Said I had to do it online. Gas pump wouldn’t take credit card. Staff advised I had to just pick an amount (how do I know how much it’s going to cost to fill up). One of the staff was parked in pump lane blocking my access to the parking area had to wait until she left. If I had know this was a online check in only I would have gone somewhere else. Also, your system directed me there, again with no notice of online check in only. Left the 12 rental blankets in the unlocked back of the truck because there were no instructions of what to do with them. I not only would not recommend this check in location, I would recommend that uhaul suspend operations there. It’s a total disaster. Probably will not select uhaul again unless action is taken against this location. I have other options
Tony SWhen I arrived at the location the 24/7 rental process did not work. I could not access the keys in the lockbox. The attendant did not know how to help me, so I called U-Haul. After several attempts and even walking around the block to see if getting my phone location to be accurate, I still couldn't retrieve the key. Note: all my phone settings were correct, as confirmed by customer support. U-Haul then had to get on the phone with the gas station attendant, who seemed to be handling this type of issue for the first time. I wonder what would have happened if I tried to pick up my truck at night when no attendant was present! U-Haul needs better support for these problems. Otherwise the van rental worked as expected. No other issues. I returned the truck at a different location without any problems.
