This location was the worst uhaul experience. There was someone who took the keys and told me to go and he'll take care of receiving the van. It was at 1pm and 5 pm I received a text saying the van has not been returned. He did the paperwork the next morning. I will not go there again.Steven S.

No Direct answers and timely assistance. Need for Proper information and delivery of code, when main system is not working well. At the Location for pick up the staff there had no idea what needed to be completed or had no idea who the second party dealer was but only new he was on vacation. We were given a phone number to call if there were any issues an individual answered who never identified himself as well as another individual who we spoke to. It took us over 4 hours to get the keys for the vehicle, including that the individuals had no knowledge of the code or which box the keys were in. There was only one positive thing in the whole process and that was the patience of a customer service representative by the name if Jalene who help see us through this awful experience. I will not use uhaul services in the future or recommend that anyone does either. I am still having difficulty just getting information regarding the bill. I was told that the individuals including the manager for this location didn't know how to put in the bill information. There need to be a better screening of second party dealers and better connection and communication between headquarters and second and third parties dealers.janina B.

This was my worst experience ever since being a loyal customer to the U-Haul brand. I took advantage of securing a storage rental at the time of my booking. Unfortunately, I left the paperwork with my other stored material and I was not able to get my hands on it. When I unloaded my belongings at my residence and was ready to store the remaining items in Storage I called the Scheduling Department and explained I secured a storage and if they could help me. The young lady indicated she was in Jacksonville and did not have any access to that information. I was dumbfounded because that was the same number I called to reserve a storage location. After a few more calls and hoping someone could help me, again I was notified they could not help me. I did not understand how Scheduling can arrange a storage location, with the first month free, yet no one can locate it when the customer calls back for assistance. I had to leave the truck at another location because the condo I moved into does not allow any delivery trucks on the premises after 6pm. I following day I located a storage unit and cleaned the truck. To add insult to injury, when I called scheduling as I was informed I could do to be notified of the closest U-Haul in my immediate area. I was told that they could only provide me location in Jacksonville because they were not familiar with Ft. Lauderhill. I tried another (800) number I had and was provided an address, but when I arrived at that address, there was another business name on the sign and there were no U-Haul trucks in sight. I called the Scheduling group again and was told again that was the only information they could share with me (the wrong address). I begin to panic because I had just filled up the truck and my wife and I were driving around trying to locate a dealership to drop the truck off. My wife and I literally pulled onto the side of the road to Google any near by U-Hauls dealerships.... be reminded I was reminded by Scheduling that if I dropped the truck off anywhere besides the assigned location I would be charged $200. Between that, burning up my gas in the truck, and now trying not to go over my allotted 381 miles, we finally contacted someone who was able to assist us. This was certainly a nightmare of a move and I am truly disappointed in the lack of customer service provided. The Jacksonville Schedulers transferred me to the Orlando, FL Scheduler, and from there I was transferred to another location. U-Haul if you check under my contract number and look at my call notes, you will see I must have called you all 10 times. Poor business and a very bad experience!derek L.

I have rented probably over 100 times at Uhaul and this location was the worst among them. It's very poor customer service at this location. I chose no insurance on my truck reservation and when I got to that location the person who did my paperwork added insurance to my policy and when I asked him I didn't want the insurance, he said he tried to remove it but he couldn't remove it and I had to get the truck at that moment and had no choice but to accept to pay for insurance. I would never recommend that location to anyone and not satisfied with the service at all.Yunus U.
The owner or manager or this business was very unprofessional and rude! I had to sit and wait in him when I got there he wasn't even there after he called to ask me where I was like he was in a rush. Then he fraudulently charged me more money stating I returned the truck the next day when it was actually returned the same evening it was rented! Never again would I rent from this location. We had a 9am reservation for almost 5 days before and we got there, the guy at the desk basically ignore us and then he says oh if you're here for the uhaul I have to call the guy. Having rented from uhaul for all of our moves before we found this odd and inconvenient. I had an appt for a walk through in 45 mins and that's the reason we booked the uhaul at 9 and not just showed up. Anyway, that's not even the worst of it. The guy tells us the man who's suppose to help will 'soon come'. When I asked what does that mean, how long is soon...his answer was well he generally comes. Generally comes! Beyond livid inside honestly and immediately regretted not driving to a real uhaul place. Finally the guy who's suppose to help shows up at 935 and takes another 20 mins to check us in. He was annoyed at everything and overall he should not be anywhere near customers. Got the truck, late but got it and then we go to drop it off around 6. My husband had to wait another 20 mins for someone to call him to come check us out. In the meantime, one of his employees took the keys from my husband, checked the truck out but told us we still have to wait for the guy. So he waits another 20 mins and the guy acctually had the nerve to tell my husband to go get the keys from HIS employee. My husband had enough at that point and said I am not walking through your shop to find your employee. The guy got pissed off and went and got the keys. Never again! I am sad that they are eligible to be a uhaul location. We never had a bad experience before this with uhaul. This place is a joke!Alexandra P.
They didn't know how to hook up a car tow dolly and required help from several people including myself. After they got it hooked up, they recommended I go to a different uhaul several miles away to have them check that the car tow was hooked up correctly. Which wasted another hour.mark A.
