Very professional and easy to use the vehicle, very recommended
JAWORSKI AWhoever had the vehicle last either transported or spilled food, causing the entire interior to smell of food. Despite my airing it out for hours, the smell remains. The previous user should have been charged for, and the vehicle should have been given, an extensive cleaning. 5 air fresheners in the vehicle couldn't overcome the smell.
DANIEL JI got the 10’ truck for three days, after one day the engine check light turned on. The cabin was very dirty and also oily, and I couldn’t do my job with this dirty car.

HELEN ASubject: Request for Refund Due to Vehicle Issues Dear U-Haul Customer Service, I recently rented a truck from your company, but unfortunately, it had engine problems during my rental period. This affected my ability to use the vehicle as intended and caused significant inconvenience. Despite the issue, I was still charged the full rental price. I’m requesting a full refund for this rental, as the truck was not in proper working condition. I can provide details such as my rental agreement number, pickup/drop-off times, and any other relevant documentation. Please let me know the next steps in resolving this matter

HAMIDREZA AI personally would find it simpler if I could just bring the truck back with a full gas tank instead of trying to Match the the level of gas left from the previous rental. This way I would know exactly how much fuel I used.

JOSHUA GThe truck I rented was unacceptably dirty, including a foul-smelling and sticky mess in the rear section that could not possibly have been missed by the person who inspected the truck (if they actually inspected the truck) before my arrival. In addition, the moving blankets I rented were not provided. I learned of this when the very rude and unfriendly check-in staff announced, "Take your dolly from here. But no blankets. We don't have them." No apology for the inconvenience, no offer of assistance, substitute or compensation. Nothing. Very poor service. Next time, I'll either rent from a competitor or, at the very least, try another location. This one, never again. My friendly advice: do the same.

AHMADALI AThe bed of the pickup was filled with snow. I was charged for 6 litres of fuel after travelling 17km. I called the location and they said someone will get back to me. No one has. Is this how Uhaul does business?

KARIM ATotal scam operation....No inspection of the vehicle at pu, employee to lazy to do so, on return told to return keys in box outside door rather than inspect vehicle again. I took pictures and kept them feeling this was odd. Sure enough a claim comes thru with damages to the roof? I deny allegations and send pictures to them, they don't respond, send it to a credit agency that will put it on your credit report if not paid. Total scam, don't use this location, used them in numerous other locations, always pre-inspected and inspected afterwards. U-Haul do something about these operators totally unacceptable.

ROMAR VThe location was efficient. I felt they could be a little bit friendlier but it was early in the morning when I picked up my vehicle. I have a one day rental and I was able to take it back the next day but they kept asking me what time I'm returning it the same day. So I told him it would be late and they didn't tell me that I could have saved $20. If I returned it the next day as planned.. I found this out later, and I was a little disappointed, but even so they didn't over charge other than that. I have used U-Haul before and never had this kind of experience. Also, the truck he had had some things I would've liked to of known about. After I got to my truck I had to look at a YouTube video to understand how the parking brake worked. I also had other questions that I had to answer by doing Internet research when a friendly person with quick instruction could have gotten me on the road a lot faster. The friendly person with quick instruction is what I was used to in my previous rentals with U-Haul so I was a little disappointed with this part of customer service, but perhaps I was expecting too much.

Antonio JI have rented several times from this location. Due to the damp weather a lot of pine needles were stuck to the floor of the van. I swept the leaves and mopped the floor of the van but the needles stuck. I was charged with a cleaning fee. I could not really clean the van properly until it dried. I feel you could have waived the cleaning fee. I would also like to know if that plastic bottom of the van can be removed. That is really the only way I could have cleaned the van or a very powerful vacuum.

James DThis comment relates to the online reservation system and not the location where I picked up and returned the rental. The online reservation system confirmation is confusing and misleading. I had selected an estimate of 300km in my online reservation request. When I submitted the reservation request, the online screen that I saw after it the reservation was confirmed indicated I had requested 483km and not 300km. I can only think that this is because the system converted my 300km thinking it was 300 miles into 483 km. This was confusing and caused me some concern although I was reassured when I called the location that the amount charged would be based on the actual km driven and the initial charge to my card would be based on the 300km.

JIME MI forgot a bag of tools in the front of the truck and received a call to collect with little hassle. Was pleased
MATTHEW MAlthough i returned the gas level same as what i received at the begining of the contract, charged me for gas and admin fee and ect... and i had to argue about 30 min with the staff and manager and show them the pucture of gas level at return and receipt of gas station to refund the extra charges. Manager of the lication was very rude.

ALON WWhile the first place I went to (Kings Wheel Rental - 317 Sheppard Ave E) had no vans available, they went above and beyond in finding me this place with availability and making me a reservation. Customer service at the place was on the verge of rudeness and the van had a lot of dirty and greasy spots around the door handles, lucky I had work gloves or my hands would be dirty as well. Next time I’ll try to reserve on Kings Wheel upfront.
