The people checking out trucks inside were talking politics and complaining with other customers about gun regulations. It made me extremely, extremely uncomfortable, and.I won't be renting from this location again.

This location was awesome. However, the night before pick up Jean called me from the U-Haul location in Elmhurst confirming that as my pick up location even though when I reserved the U-Haul a month ago the Lombard location was in my email confirmation. I asked Jean if she was sure and she said yes and told me I could pick up the U-Haul a night early for no extra charge. I declined because I didn’t have a place to park it for the extra night. When I showed up to the Elmhurst location the next morning Jean informed me that they did not have my U-Haul even though she called the night before confirming. She said they had a number of reservations and my truck had been given to one of those people. I didn’t realize when she called me the night before she was saying pick it up now because we might not have it in the morning. She then told me she had been trying to call me all morning to tell me…I did not have one missed call from her. She also said she had been on hold with U-Haul all morning trying to find me a truck. I called U-Haul customer service, was on hold for maybe a minute and the customer service rep found me a truck right away…and guess where? My original confirmation location in Lombard. Had Jean in Elmhurst not called me the night before and told me this different location I wouldn’t have wasted my time driving there just to drive to the other location. Lombard location was awesome, the guy that helped me was super thorough, friendly, and helpful. I recommend Nuts and Bolts in Lombard I do not recommend the Elmhurst location. They just made what would have been an easy and flawless process a pain.

Most everything was great. I felt helped and taken care of. The vibes were chill too, which was nice because I was stressing out from my trip. The only thing is that I wish I got a bit of a better inspection before I left the lot. Preferably from an adult. Still, everything worked just fine.

My only suggestion is to send the text about checking the condition of the rental well before the scheduled pick up time - I didn't see it till after I left the rental location.

Management was very kind, professional, and friendly. They took my information, finalized my paperwork, and made the whole process easy. I’m usually hesitant to use a third-party location for U-Haul rentals and drop-offs, but the staff made me feel very comfortable. I’ll more than likely reserve from this facility again instead of driving farther to a main U-Haul location

UHAUL changed my reservation to this location because the location I normally rent from did not have the size trailer that I need. The staff here is fantastic and I will be using them in the future instead of the old location I used to go to.

Nuts and Volts went above an beyond. Two furniture dollies were requested with our order. Though Nuts and Volts had submitted a request for these items, UHaul had not fulfilled the order so none were available. Nuts and Volts therefore graciously loaned out 2 of their personal dollies. Thank you Nuts and Volts!!

the cargo van was extremely dirty, covered in salt and dirt, the front grill had 2" think of this muck. The windows, mirrors and backup camera were so bad I could not use them. I had to wash off as much as possible in the freezing cold to be able to even utilize the van. I had called and made a complaint to UHaul and sent a couple of photos. Also when I picked up the van, I asked don't you wash these vehicles and I got a very curt answer "no we don't wash them." The worst customer service. I feel I am owed something from UHaul

The truck I used has a wheel alignment issue so the highway driving wasn't great, almost had to go very slow at times so the truck wouldn't be all over rjw road. Other than that everyone invyin my rent was great, I'll be using them again for future jobs

I drove 4 miles total and was charged for 3 gallons of fuel. I'm not sure how I burned 0.75/gallons per mile, as the fuel needle didn't move. Come on now.

They were supposed to change our drop off location to the U-Haul Moving & Storage of West Davenport 3616 W Kimberly Rd, Davenport, IA 52806. When we went to drop it off we were told we had to return it at another location or the cost would be double

I hired 2 moving helpers for 3 hours from Midwest Movers and they only sent 1 helper. I asked for 50% refund off the charge but refused to do so. Where I come from That Is NOT right
