The customer service representative at the pick up place was lacking knowledge causing him to try to overcharge me. When I contacted his manager in the area, she suggested that I basically go in and talk to him and instruct him. I explained to her that was not my job so she did finally handle things. It took way too much time for this transaction. I would not recommend U-Haul to anybody

When I came to pick up the truck t was told the system was down and I wouldn’t be able to get the truck until it was up again. We worked out a way for me to get the truck that I reserved, which I was happy about and 45 minutes to a hour later I was driving it out of the lot. The truck cab was somewhat clean but it sounded like there wasn’t a muffler on the truck, it was very loud! When returning the truck there were problems also. The same gentleman helped me both times and was very nice and helpful. Prior to picking up the truck I had filled out all the information for a quicker check in but when I got there I had to go through it all over again which took a lot of time.

Truck wasn’t checked in from the previous return (the night before) at my 10am pickup time. The self-service rental option failed after I did all of the ID steps with a cryptic error message. Only after calling UHaul, and being transferred to 24/7, were they able to tell me what the error was all about. Overall, it took me nearly 45 minutes to pick up the vehicle. When interacting with the gas station attendant, both at pickup and return, they barely said a word. I felt very uncomfortable with the entire transaction. I will never rent from these sketchy gas station U-Haul outlets in the future. Also, the rear tires have sidewall cuts on them, and are not highway safe. Thankfully, my move was a local move.

I secured a truck online for Racine WI and got a call I was moved to Oak Creek WI. When I arrived they said they gave my truck to someone else. Now I'm being billed for a truck i don't have. Awful service driving around southeastern Wisconsin to end up with no vehicle...

We had trouble with it scanning when we dropped off truck. The application did not give clear information so that we knew the return was complete. We were not clear where to park the truck either. Overall everything was great!.

My rental was as easy or easier than any previous one. Truck was clean and new, management was responsive and helpful.

Upon arrival, I noticed there were no clear U-Haul markings. The person inside the gas station asked me to wait about 10 minutes. After those 10 minutes, I was asked to wait another 20 minutes. He then told me I had parked in the wrong place and asked me to move the truck into a spot smaller than the truck itself. Finally, he agreed to take the truck key with the promise that he would process the return in about 30 minutes. The next morning, the return still hadn't been processed. I had to go back to the station, where a different employee completed the return in less than five minutes and apologized multiple times for the issue

Very impersonal. Attendant was not ready for me and I waited 1/2 hour while he filled in the forms. Then just hands me the key! I had to ask him to show me how to operate door, etc. Would never rent from there again!!

So rude and not friendly and bad customer service .tried to charge me extra bucks .

Truck had a crumpled up box and sunglasses case left in the cab when we picked it up. The person who rang us up added 2 dollies that we did not request with the online order and did not tell us that we would be charged for them. We did not use them and were charged extra at drop-off. We also did not choose the extra insurance package online and he added it to the contract unknowlingly as well. The fees were much larger than expected and the person was not easy to communicate with.
