Well for one, we received the truck on empty. then we were charged "coverage" at the end and we didn't purchase any insurance. Secondly, we had to fill the tank from empty and therefore returned it on 1/4 tank (what we hadn't used). We should have received a credit for a tank of gas at the start. Finally, this station didn't have any working pumps (even though a gas station). Instead it had become a THC station with pot selling and wreaked of pot even when checking out. We preferred not to get high standing there checking out with our rental.

Documentation efforts were doubled as it was completed in the app prior to arrival and had to all be re-entered at location.

U-Haul should not have truck rentals out of convenience stores. They have no supplies. During this encounter the clerk had to use a phone to do the rental contract. It kept crashing and he had to keep starting over. This was the third place I’d been to that morning to get a vehicle that I’d reserved at another location. A location that had the supplies I needed.

Unrelated to the location itself - the truck that was available to me had a warning light on and I had to contact Roadside Assistance before even getting on the road. The ignition was also difficult to engage and I sometimes had to try several times before it would click. The gentleman at the Ocala Quick Mart was kind and efficient.

The store Needs small trucks, pick ups and vans. I was needing a Pick Up or a van but they didn't have it.

Horrible experience with UHAUL as moving from FL they attached the ramp poorly so my car got damaged and then in this location horrible and incompetent staff and they never pick the phone. Never coming back and would not recommend this location at all. Save yourself money and energy so ypu don't end up waiti9ng on somebody who has no clue.

When I picked up the truck, they were having difficulty with their Uhaul website. It took longer than it should have, no fault of the employees. They were very nice and accommodating.

They changed our rental location and time and failed to tell us . That then put us in a spot where we had to haggle with 5 different people on the phone and 1 in person who all were practically no help at all.

Extremely fast when data is in the computer, happy you can fill up with gas before drop-off right there at the facility. Friendly and polite service from the man and woman who greeted us. Thanks for a very hazzle free experience.

Have the truck at the preferred location when someone reserves days in advance.. a 30-40 extra minutes on your drive isn’t how you want to start moving day…

This was ok, but it was a gas station at night in a somewhat dark lit area. As a woman, I found it uncomfortable coming here to drop the rental off and having to stay longer than I was comfortable with because of the app having trouble when I was returning the rental. There was a man on a bicycle that kept hovering around and talking to himself, for about 15-20 minutes before leaving, and the store was closed and locked so I was not able to go inside if anything had happened. Not an ideal location in terms of safety for dropping off equipment during the night. I also tried to select “not applicable” for the question if the personnel were helpful at the drop off location but it wouldn’t accept that option. I didn’t meet the personnel because the location was locked and closed

The person doing the rental agreement when we picked up the truck had only been doing for two week. She was very good but I think with a little more time dealing with rental customers she will be Excellent
