I used the Oconomowoc location the person with whom I dealt with was rude not only to but others inquiring about a rental. He would yell in a very demanding tone as to how long the trailer would be in use. I would not recommend this location because how I treated.Susan S.

I was not told I would be charged for gas in addition to the 19 cents/mile. The charge was $5.00 and the gas prices are $3.09. I used 1/8 of a tank and there was 1/4 of a tank left so it wasn't filled up when I rented it.George J.

My big problem in this move was getting the truck signed in when I returned it. I knew the place was going to be closed but didn't think it would be such a problem to get the truck properly turned in. I got to the rental place at 3:55 p.m. on September 4. The truck was due at 4, so I was on time. I started following the instructions to turn it in online. I got hung up in Step 1 when the website would not upload the picture of odometer and gas gauge. I tried a few times and then had to call your 800 number to see if I could check it in that way. I was on hold for about 10 minutes before talking to the first person. She told me I needed to talk to someone else and transferred me to that number where I was on hold for 31 minutes. By that point, I had given up and was back on the road when I was called. I was able to check the truck in online but was also told that I needed to call the rental place back the next day to complete the process. I did call back the next day during business hours but no one was there, so I had to leave a message. No one ever called me back, so I am assuming that the truck was accepted and I am done. But I would like to have some message to that effect.Kimberly F.

Friendly, professional and incredibly courteous service! The U-Haul representative even met me there a little earlier, walking me through all the specifics, and had me on my way in no time at all. The truck was very clean and surprisingly comfortable! Drop-off was just as easy. I appreciated the online check out, although the U-Haul representative happened to be there a bit after hours because he was helping another customer with a last minute rental. We've rented U-Hauls in several states and this location was by far the most friendly and efficient!Michelle P.

It would be helpful to know when there are things going on directly in front of where our location changed to pick up the truck. There was a race the entire day so the road was blocked off for miles and allowing traffic only one way. We did not know this until getting close to the location at our scheduled time for pick up. We had to go over 10-20 miles around in order to get access to a street that was not blocked off. Once we arrived at the location (just over an hour from our original pickup time), it wouldn't let us check in online. I had to go in the store, which luckily was open during that time, and have him reset our pickup time to check in online. It was a lot of hassle and unnecessary stress with the addition of moving. Our original option for picking up a truck was less than a mile down the road from where we are located. It would be nice if things like that were taken into consideration or to see if it's available to have a truck drop off changed to there. Both times we have rented a U-Haul have been nothing but issues so we will not be renting one again for our future moves.Cody E.

Fix your stupid app. It took us nearly an hour to get checked in with the rental. I had to fill in information multiple times. Then when returning, it was even worse. The app would not upload any pictures at all! Luckily chrome worked, but it still took far too long. The engineers behind the app couldn't dump the water out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel. As a software engineer, it's absolutely embarrassing.Dylan J.
